Alan,
Donnie walsh may have blown his chance of getting rid of Zach Randolph, the Clippers are not an option any more.

Better get on the phone with the Cavaliers and trade Randolph for Wally Szerbiak.

Donnie dont get cute here, just get rid of this guy.

I agree. Let him start the season and he will poison the well again. A lazier, more selfish player I have never seen.(If the Clippers or Cavs are reading this, though, I think he's definately an inside presence that can help any team!)

I want to give Mr. Walsh the benefit of the doubt, but Knicks need to get rid of these players...taking no big contract and a second round pick for Randolph should have been done. You can't chance that the market is still going to be open for him. We will see.

As the saying goes, "if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen". I think fans are optimistic enough that the Rooster will do well. As much as I want to get rid of Zach as the next guy, I also agree that dumping a 20-10 for next to nothing isn't what I would do unless the intention is purely a salary dump. I guess the problem now is whether other teams would be even remotely interested in a contract like Z-Bo's let alone his chemistry issues.

It seems Walsh is willing to start the year with the team we have and not really give away players. With a year of good coaching these guys value will increase. Because everybody's stock is way down. I dont think we can knock Zach because he player the same game Crawford played and everybody else.

well said. All of the players will benefit by having a coach that has a playing style and sticks with it. Last year the Knicks changed night-to-night and always seemed to be made to adjust to the other teams moves. 2006 curry was the focus the ball always went inside first, then 2007 they never figured WHO should be featured on a given night based on the opponents weekness.
