Pargo might actually be a good fit, but he is more like Nate than a real 2 gaurd. He would help with his veteran ability and would be a good backup at the 2. The Knicks would need a true 2 that could defend, go to the rim and score and shoot the outside J. Pargo can get to the hole a little like the little frenchman off the Spurs.

The Knicks should also look into getting getting the Dallas Mavs Howard and Diop (gotta take on some salary here.) possibly giving up Marbury and a draft pick or another player. They would get a shotblocker and a SG and two very good defensive players. I'm not crazy about Diop, but perhaps the Knicks could swing a deal with a third team to give up Diop and get a backup point gaurd. They could take on Stackhouses contract if it doesn't go past 2010. Just some thoughts, but the prize is Howard a defensive and offensive player that would fit in very well with the Knicks who desperately need height and defense at the 2.

Another really short shooting guard?
Let's get real and try to pick up something we need.

Now Duhon is a GM? True our GM made this team a disaster (at least for the next 2 years, maybe more)but let Duhon worry about his game.

Just what the Knicks need a player who could not get mega-bucks in the NBA so went to Europe. Now the Knicks are just a payday to him.

This is what 2010 could be 2nd rate players get over paid by the Knicks.

The Knicks have a lot of guards, unfortunately none of them play any defense. If the Knicks pick up Pargo it would be as a defensive stopper to play 10-12 minutes a game. Roberson is terrible and shouldnt see the floor, Duhon and Chandler play way too many minutes as it is, and Q could always use a second-half breather. I think Pargo is a pretty good fit for what the Knicks are looking for.
