so can we have no more Marbury articles until he's traded, cut,or bought out. These articles are so boring. the same old retread, repeating whats been reported in other papers, the player who doesnt want to be named is a coward and thats the real problem with this team, Marbury takes the shots for being on a bad team, and you loser reporters blame the only guy with heart, keep the rest of those gutless ny knicks. Find something else to report. I could have wrote that POS. what about e.brand in philly, thats a story. If donny walsh listens to you idiot reporters we'll still suck by 2010

have you been living in NYC lately and watch the Knicks games? because you seem to have slept your way out of the last NBA season. Marbury has been the Knicks' problem. He clashes with his coach, doesn't show up for team practice and at superstar on the court.. doesn't know teamwork..
you're an I.. D.. I.. O.. T!!!!

Mardy, Nate, Duhon ... none of them are upgrades over Marbury when he's healthy. It's not MArbury's fault that when he looks to pass all he had was a 30% SG in Crawford and the worst statistical SF in the NBA in Q-rich.
and a Curry who did his Sweeney impression and gained weight DURING the season. KNick management isn't that stupid (as some clueless fans). You need a PG that has the threat of making a shot or his man will always double. Fans that dismiss all the team faults and say just dump Marbury don't have a clue....

Marbury isn't the only problem on the Knicks. You have your so called franchise center who is soft, doesn't play defense and can't rebound. Maybe if we put a cheeseburger on the rim he might be able to grab some. You also have a small forward and shooting guard who are inconsistent so don't give me any excuses about the Knicks being better without Marbury.

This is idiocy. The guy is in the last year of his contract. Pay him and watch him play well and behave if only so that he can sign a multi-year deal after this season somewhere else (although you look at the contracts being offered to headcases and you know someone will sign Marbury). This talk has killed ALL trade value Marbury had. I see no reason to pay him so that some other team hires him and he plays his butt off just to stick it to the Knicks.

Oh, Philly just signed Elton Brand so now there's another monster in the East. Boston, Philly, Orlando and The Washington Wizards are in the Atlantic Division. Looks like the Knicks will be fighting with the Nets and a slightly improved Miami to see who carries the Division. Ah well, hopefully we tank enough to get D'Antoni his magical PG (Ricky Rubio) in next year's draft.

Sigh.

Walsh declined to get into specifics about Marbury except to repeat that no decision on any Knicks player has been made.

"And I keep reading about a Walsh confidant," Walsh joked. "I don't have anyone here in New York who is my confidant. My wife isn't here. I'm by myself."

Alan Houston, he's garbage and soft.

The year the Knicks gave him the big contract old Michael Jordan out of retirement had better numbers and shot more free throws. That's when the Knicks started this slow free fall.

The Knicks need to keep their team make no more moves and let the highly paid coach teach them to be a team. They have enough talent. Needs to teach them to have fun playing, be responsible to their team and the tradition of their respective positions. Play basketball!!!

Alan Houston's contract extension was the beginning of the end for the knicks. It went straight downhill from there.

it has NEVER been reported that Marbury hasn't shown up for practice, furthermore he only played in 24 games this year, you blaming him for this year too? Steve Nash has led the LEAGUE in Turnovers the last 5 years, would Marbury be allowed to have that stat? You guys have made up reasons why you don't like Marbury. I have watched EVERY Knick game since 84, how old are some of you on here? Byron Scott had Marbury run the Nets and made allstar, Isiah had Marbury pass the ball to Crawford and Curry, no all star. You guys are blind. Too many other bums on this team to be so harsh on Marbury, can he start a fast break if Curry can't rebound? No. Can he get an assist with Q.Rich, who shot 31 percent OVERALL this year. You guys are jokes. Some knick fans you guys are, you cheer all the wrong people. I loved how yall booed our rookie, real smart fans. the dumbest fans in the country right now.

You're right, the entire team stinks. Crawford is the worst shooting guard in the league, and Curry is pure lazy. No one is blaming everything on Steph, that is saved for Isiah (and Layden). While most would agree he is probably the most talented player on tghe team, he is, and always will be, a head case. I'm 50, and have been a fan since the late 60's.

By the way, you mentioned that Nash has led the league in turnovers during the past 5 years, which I'll take you for your word. How has he done as far as assists?
