I think that Eddy should leave the baby alone, and let him continue to live with his Grandmother. He has only seen the baby twice, so why do you want to be bothered with him now? Also, I have heard over and over about his money situations. Maybe that's why he wants to keep him so that he don't have to spend any money. And, if your family is suggesting this (Eddy)! They should be ashamed of themselves as well!!!!!

Yes, it's not like the grandmother wants the 5 digit child support check every month. The kid should be with his father.

The kid belongs with his grandmother. Curry hasn't been a fixture in his daily life, grandma has. The boy has lost his mother and his sister. It would be a tragedy if he lost his grandmother now too.
Eddy is the biological father, but Grandma is this boy's only living family.

He'll Adjust....Such an outrageous statement!!! Because a child is only 3 years old, doesn't mean that he won't be scarred by this series of unfortunate events. This is a very clear example of the law being too literate to make any sense!! This child witnessed the murder of his mother and sister at an age too young to articulate his feelings. He very well may suffer post traumatic stress syndrome or have some other mental concerns. I wonder why there is no mention of a mental health professional being consulted, so that whatever decision is made is in the best interest of the child, not some overgrown jock with enough money to buy good legal counsel.

I never said he wasn't traumatized, I said he'd adjust. The overgrown jock is the child's father (that is why he is paying child support). The mother is dead, the father is the next of kin. I am not saying the child should never see his grandmother again, of course he should. If granny is 100% serious about the well being of the child, if she is more concerned about that than the 5 digit child support check, then she would ask Curry to sign away his parental rights and give up the child support. That's what people who truly care about the well being of the child do.

Someone call Janet Reno - she'll have that kid Elian Gonzalez'ed before you can say 'double dribble'. Eric Holder agrees.
