Boy was I wrong on this series! I said, Celts in 7. I don't mind being wrong on this one.

The lessons here revolve around the often-used cliches: "Never give up" ... "It's not over until the final whistle (or last out)" ... and "Try Your Best" ...

This game's final result is a coach's dream, especially when coaching kids that play team sports and are fans of Boston sports teams.

Better yet, this game's final result is a reality for anyone that faces what seem to be impossible odds.

GO Celtics!

Go Celtics. Ok. I love Boston teams although I don't really follow basketball, has anyone ever noticed the bias against New England teams in the media? I think it is because the major media markets are dominated by New York and California. I think if teams from one of those cities won as much as New England has this year, the players would be on every talk show and the media would play it way up and make it into a national celebration.

That second half rally was worth staying up late- incredible, entertaining, thrilling basketball. The Lakers were awesome in the first half and it seemed there was no way the Green could get back. In the first quarter, Boston couldn't buy a basket- off the rim, air balls, missed passes, turnovers, missed assignments, little effective defense. But when they began to pull together, when Ray Allen began hitting and Kevin Garnett turned to post up, when House spread the field and Peirce took over the offense, it was the most exciting game I've seen.

Hate to break this to you but the Lakers just aren't that good.
