Well not everyone agrees with Jim.
On TNT tonight Charles Barkley predicted that the Magic would win in 6 games and the 2 other bozos with him agreed.
So their you go JIM.
Oh Jim do you know who is not playing for Boston..... no excuses later ....right.

You can say all you want in here, but nobody on the Magic is reading it and saying, Oh ok I will lose this series here then. So you should just keep posting the same BS in here, it's the best way I can think of you to spend your time sadly.

I called this win folks. I said all along it would be the Magic playing the Celtics in round 2.
No you didn't. You said (numerous times) that Philly would win. You fail. Your predictions fail. Stop making them.

And by the way, predicting the 2nd and 3rd seeds would advance (which you didn't do, but for the sake of arguement we'll pretend you did), does not make you a great prognosticator. Upsets in the NBA are rare. The top 3 seeds almost never lose to the bottom three.

If we want to beat the celtics we have to go to Rashard Lewis. Big Baby Davis is too slow for him. Rashard has to post up more and Dwight needs to pass the ball better out of the double teams. It should be a very good series but i think that Boston is tired and Orlando will prevail. Ray Allen will abuse JJ but Boston bigs are going to be in foul trouble through out the whole series. Magic in 6

Jim just like to be hated... he seems to be lacking some attention at home or something like that. Dont mind him... if you keep paying attention to him he is going to keep doing the same thing over and over... he loves the Magic he is just being a retard

Orlando will win in 6. Celtics almost lost to a team with no inside game at all. Bulls are a spectacular jump shooting team with young, fast legs. Orlando is a great jump shooting team with the best big man in the league. Celtics can't compete. Pierce is old and tired. so is Allen. Rondo is good, but has no outside game. Perkins is a backup on most teams and Davis is not an inside 4 even though he is 300 pounds. Yes, his jumpshot is nice, but the Celtics will have no inside points against Howard and Rashard.

I really hope we can get past the celtics in round 2. The problem the magic will have is Boston's playoff experience, Dream: Magic in 6
Reality: Celtics in 6. I'm a die hard magic fan but I have to say it like I see it,(without the rose colored glasses) with Lee out for the first couple games and Alston's hot-and-cold games he's had since showing up in Orlando, it will be nearly impossible for the magic to prevail(notice I said nearly). This series will come down to guard and right now it looks like Boston's got us beat. Go Magic! I'll be crossing my fingers for you!

If the Magic play with the same intensity they had against Philadelphia, the series will be over in five games. And they can all watch Cleveland and Boston in the East Finals.

everybody also said that the magic would sweep the sixers, and it took a buzzer beater from the most hated man in an orlando jersey to lock up the series

What you guys don't realize is it's all about match-ups. That is the key in this whole thing. And also, throw the regular season out of this. Rashard Lewis has been a great post up player for a long time. We do the same with him against Boston that we did with Philly. Who's going to guard him on the post?? You'll also see Dwight average 20 and 20. You'll also see Rafer have a huge series. The same problem that Boston has with Rashard, they have with Turk. Again, who guards him?? We match up much better defensively with Boston than they do with us. We lead the league in quarding the 3 pt line. We give up the least amount of points per 48mins in the league. We have the best 2 per 48min rebounders in the league. Again, you're going to see the beast of all beast come out in this series in D. Howard. We're going to run Boston out of the gym. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen can't guard us. We run pick and roll's, make them switch, post Hedo, Rashard, and Dwight. And we win this series in 5...maybe even a sweep. We won't be denied!!! After this series is over, Cleveland is gonna get a size 14 up their $#^&*@ too!!!!!

The Magic MUST win 1 of the first 2 games in Boston to have ANY chance of winning this series.
Should they lose both of the first 2 games then this series WILL be over.
With that being said the Celtics will be more focused on defense in this series. They will not let what happened to them in round 1 happen in this series. They know they don't want to take a chance of going to a game 7 against the Magic.

Along with my earlier post, JJ is going to play much better defense than you think. I also predict that he will surprise with the ability to drive to the basket. Gortat and Battie will have huge series as well. You're pretty much going to see this Magic team get on a huge roll as a team. Game 6 was a great confidence booster. You're probably going to see a much more focused and meaner Turk. That's the first time I've ever seen him do what he did. I just can't see Boston beating us. With Garnett, this series goes 7 either way. Without him, we maul Boston.

okay mr. expert, what did you base your pick on, a crystal ball,or a quarter flip? How bout some basketball: Perkins and davis are big, heavy, and slow with a full slate of fouls> enter adonal foyle who can match up just right with perkins, big heavy and slow with a full slate of fouls, actually foyle has a knack for blocks too.For davis we have the polish hammer, who once again matches up very nicely and may be more agile, and has a little more height. Both have a jump shot in their bag, but gortat has edge with pick and roll. This takes a lot of pressure off Howard when he is in as long as foyle/gortat can bang some minutes out. Lewis has no match on the celtics, turk and pierce pretty even with a slight edge to pierce. Ray Allen is going to be tough, if Lee can play will be a big help to slow allen down on the perimeter, allen can Not stop Lee going to the basket. Dirty player rondo will be having nba eyes on him a lot more tighter this round, alston will have his hands full, but alston also will give rondo some problems with his offense. House>reddick, pretty even. If Van Gundy shares the pain with foyle and gortat, howard will play free and dominate this series, and add to that Lewis hitting his shots consistently and you have a big plus to the Magic going on to the next round. Surprise- Magic will win the first game with fresh legs and more energy.Boston is going to be feeling it on monday, all 7 games with 7 overtime periods, infact they could lose both home games before they recover.Celtics won a championship last year, they got a taste, Magic are thirsty for a taste and will want it more. Magic in 5 games.win, win, win, lose, win.
