I wish we had never let Doc go. He proved that it was the personnel he needed. With teh present Magic players he would be wonderful!! i hope he comes back.
I hope Casey goes free so I can marry her and hang out with Lee. That probably won't happen either.

We’ve got The Right Stuff!

Right on the money! Just looking at Perkins, Scallabrini or Big Baby, running down the court makes you smile; for all their upper body mass, they can’t move at all!

We KNOW we can out-run, out-rebound and plainly just play better defense than Boston. We just HAVE to choose our shots WELL and out-hustle them on each and every play!

If that sounds like asking a lot, it’s NOT… the Magic are stronger, more athletic, faster, and we want this MORE; we are REALLY HUNGRY… and MAD AS HELL! And WE WON”T BE DENIED!

Thanks George Diaz for filling me up in Boston's locker room for game 7. The Celtics were looking tired and old but there's nothing like a journalist from a one horse cow town like Orlando calling you out to fire you up.

If the Magic lose on Sunday prepare for your article to be mentioned as bulletin board material.

Just cuz they are tired doesn't mean they are going to take it and go down without a fight. We can win and easily at that, but we have to play like we want to dismantle them, not just win. Our shooting guards need to hit a couple shots here and there.

I think if Dwight comes out like he did last night, the series is ours. We have to control Big Baby and Ray Allen.

Didn't the Slantinel just fire 2 sportswriters? Now this guy is gets promoted?

Fire 2 white guys and promote a Hispanic. The Slantinel would be getting the chit sued out of them if it was any other way.

George, you practically wrote off the Magic after Game 5. You must be Bianchi's brother. Same father, different mother.

Yea, real insightful there guy. Do you think a team like Boston needs "Bulletin Board" material. These guys are professionals. They know the sports writers are a bunch of reactionary blowhards. The media perpetuates the "bulletin board" myth because it makes them relevant. Good teams go out and play hard, regardless of what some columnist says.

Cry me a river. Diaz didn't get promoted. He came back to sports from the Local section, I believe. Another jack-ass playing the "minority persecuting the majority" card.

Which two white guys are you referring to, btw? Whitley? Hoppes?

If it's not in Celts' minds, then Magic players need to put it there. Hedo should keep telling Pierce, "hey, how about you and me hit the Jacuzzi after this. My treat. Turkish ones. Oh yeah~"

Although the Magic should have won this series 4 to 1 and have some pressure because of that, the Celtics have the real pressure. All the game 7 history, the fact they are the higher see with home court, the fact they are the reigning champs. If the Magic can open a decent lead by mid 4th, the Celtics are done. I only hope it is a decent lead as the stress of the close leads are killing me....

I see Allen going for 50+ again. That guy lives for this. Magic better be prepared.

Allen has looked old this series. I think the Chicago series took whatever he had left this season.

You can only carry the burden of missing KG for so long before it starts to weigh you down.

I hope you are right. The Magic have a tendency to surprise..just when you count them out.

You know I would've believed this article if it was Game 1 after the 7 game series Boston had with Chicago. But here is my problem, the Magic are young but the Celtics are experienced, how many game 7's have this current team played in two years??? I'm counting 4 including Sunday's game, do I really believe the Magic can handle the pressure? They could'nt handle it when they had an 14pt lead in game 5.

Doesnt matter who wins between Boston and Orlando. They are going to run into a buzzsaw in Cleveland. Cavs will dispose of Magic or Celts in 5 games (if they dont sweep).

The C's are thin up front. Stars are spending more time on the floor. So they might be fatigued after this series. Orlando is younger and I think has more moving parts and therefore les fatgue. I hope Boston wins, but if Orlando wins, I think that's more trouble for Cleveland. For as long as they've been sitting there, timing is going to be off. If Cleveland had just a few days off more than the winner of this series, I'd say Cleveland had the upper hand. But after this long break, I think Clevelnad will be ripe for the picking in game one. Especially by the Magic.
