What a ridiculous article... I know Cablevision owns Newsday, but lady please... This is the most one-sided, most biased journalistic entry I've read in a very long time.. Who are you by the way? What do you even know about basketball?

just go to show, how people are talking and do not know what they are talking about, they hate the guys as if he did thier family members some harm, the words of coach is final, if coach says it it has to be true, no way can they beleive any thing steph has to say, this makes me beleive it's bigger than basketball!!!!!

It would not shock me if Steph signed with the Celtics and averaged 20 pts and 10 asts a game and was on his best behavior. Steph feels like he was something to prove now. I would sign him and see what happens. At the end of the day Steph can play basketball...and if you think about it that is all that matters.

The ideal scenario for the Knick fan in me......He signs w/ boston, the Knicks get hot and grab the 8. Matchup w/ the Cmeltics in rd 1 and for karma's sake knock them out, lol. It would be the ultimate payback and joy for us Knick fans to knock him out in the playoffs.

Stephon Marbury has been working with his therapist and is ripe and ready for a trade to the Celtics.

I would sign Steph in a NY second if I'm the Celts. He's fresh and will be on fire, like he was shot out of a cannon. This was the result of D'anT's dissing of Marbury that I have been saying would happen since day 1. Marbury and the Celts are a perfect fit, no matter what this playa 'hatin writer says. If I'm Steph, I'm thrilled to be going to the Celts. He'll probably get another ring out of the deal while his ex-NYK teammates watch on TV.

Hilarious comment. 20/10 coming off the bench sharing time - not likely. As for Steph being able to play basketball and that is all that matters: He's been playing basketball for over 10 yrs in the NBA as a point guard. Team leader. He has not improved a single team he has played for. Not Phoenix, not Jersey, not NY - none. When you play for yourself and only yourself the team suffers. And that's all that matters in team sports - the team.

WOW! Marbury seems to bring the hate out in everyone. How can you say he doesn't make his team better when he took his team to the playoffs 4 times on three different teams. Please explain how he's not making his team better being the starting PG on those teams. The guy used to have a career 20 and 8 avg. These reporters are letting their personal feeling spill all over their articles. The guy never really had any talent on his teams. When he did, they went to the playoffs. Minn he had KG and they went two years in a row and Phoenix he had Amare and they took the Spurs to 6 games. Who did he have in NY or NJ that's worth talking about? Yes he's been selfish, but you can never question his production on good teams.

@Boink
How many times has T-Mac gotten out of the first round? How many times Melo has gotten out of the first round? Do you think those players sucks? The guy was voted to two All-Star teams, All-NBA twice, and he made the Olympic team. Do you think a player who sucks will earn that honor? He earned a Max contract and a Max extension. A player who sucks doesn't earn these things. The Celtics would be a great fit for Marbury.

"Starbury"? What a joke! How long has it been since he went full speed on an NBA court? If he is still so good, who doesn't he play and earn his damn money like a man? Getting paid to mope and whine...I could do that for an NBA franchise (or multiple franchises) for a lot less money!!
