You would think from this article that the Bulls were in contending for a championship....Man come on they only won three games in a row and two of them were against the worst teams in the NBA.

I posted in another article that VDN was not going anywhere because Skiles is still on the payroll.

I'm still not sold on the coach.

I'm glad to see Deng playing better. Noah has had great energy and is finishing strong at the rim. He's had some great blocks too.

Is Ben playing better because of Rose or because he is in his contract year?

Lets see if they can keep it up

The fact that the Bulls defensively have looked horrid and clueless for most of the season is a fact. Concern about Vinny in a toxic environment like that are/were legit. Sure he wouldn't get fired this year, but it could set up the beginning of the end with a canning next season. I think K.C. does come off as an apologist for Paxson and a P.R. positive spin guy for the Bulls orginaztion at times with his zealousness when denying/refuting controversy.

Lately, you'd have to say the defense does look better at times, and Noah and Thomas are looking more like legitimate NBA players. The offensive plays and ball sharing certainly have looked good lately. I hope Rose isn't serious when he says his explosive leaping days are behind him. They better design a special shoe or padding for his foot. The Air apparent will need the exclamation point of Air/dunking come playoff time now and/or in the future.

Once again your post/drivel is asinine/idiotic...
Hopefully, Rose's leaping/jumping days/games are/will be behind him/Rose because there is no/nada need for him/Rose to risk injury for a simple/standard two points...

Do we need a referee and/or judge in this forum to disagree with a post and deem a post not worthy of the referee/judge poster? We all give an opinion, which obviously will differ. In this world I guess you are always going to have a joker or two who thinks that they are humorous. All points said here are equally valid, as is natural for any subject. Therefore it would be nice to read opinions instead of certain posters who ridicule other posters for viewpoints that differ from their own. No one here has all of the answers. No one is smarter than all. Why can't we respect anotherís viewpoints no matter how much they differ from our own?

thanks for the love! it's just sad that adults have to act so immature. we are fans. i love may bulls. i also love my bears, blackhawks, cubs, illini, depaul, northwestern. why can't a guy vent without this thing turning into a comedy hour? why should you fight on the internet with some guy that has only an opinion like yourself? a guy uses a few big words to impress and thinks he's more superior than the whole world! his defense is "i touched a nerve". whats that have to do with the state of the bulls? let's have a decent dialouge about our bulls. not personal attacks! grow up.

Larry is HORRIBLE Tiffany. He is a selfish chucker and destroys team flow. This team is painful to watch with him on the floor. Anybody who cannot see how much better this team is without Hughes and Gooden is blind. I'm not talking wins or losses, even though they have started burying teams lately..... it't the energy level, ball movement, team defense and playing like a TEAM. Hughes has no clue what that means. How can you win with a CHUCKER WITH A .39% career FG%.

VDN has had trouble figuring out how to use Deng, and like Skiles before him does not yet appear to know how to nurture his young big men.

As others point out above, the latter may be improving. I would like to see the Bulls get a legitimate big man assisstant coach.

As for Deng, VDN is stuck. Had the Bulls known they were going to change to a coach whose philosophy does not match Deng's ability, you would hope Pax would have done a sign and trade. As it is, Deng is not going anywhere.

On the other hand, Gordon, whom VDN does seem to get, will probably be gone next year.

Making a winner is not easy in the NBA. Heck, the Celtics took more than 20 years to get back to the promised land.

Nada(Surf) Clue, You know so many people have commented on your constant posts and multiple posts crticizing others and talking smack which obviously points to you being a loser with no life. You're not even worth the response anymore. I feel sorry for you really, other then that you are a minor distraction on here and disrespectful to others, but I'm sure your unhapiness and lonliness far outweighs any minor annoyance you prove to be on anything as superficial as what's supposed to be a fun outlet, but for you is a blathering insult crying to mommy empty room plea that no one will ever answer. Try getting some counseling instead of being such a personal attacking loser.

looks like things are turning around. Deng, Noah, Thabo, Rose(of course), Kirk and Ben....it is looking much better. Nocioni and Gray look they are going backwards a bit. Now the stretch to the playoffs. I think they will make it comfortably.VDN is beginning to get it.

Paxson should just give Larry the Marbury treatment at this point. Don't even let him near the players. He's nothing but a cancer at this point.

I still am baffled by the VDN hire... He was a good fit for some small-market team that could afford to get cute with a coaching hire... not the friggin Bulls. I mean "management expected growing pains?"... growing pains are for the Grizzlies. We should be hiring VDN's after they've already made their rookie mistakes in Memphis.

This is pathetic... Jerry Reinsdorf got lucky once on Phil Jackson, but he shouldn't make that his pattern.. since then we've had Tim Floyd (inexperienced gamble), Bill Cartwright (inexperienced gamble), and Scott Skiles (Limited experience gamble), Scott Skiles was a good coach, and mostly because he'd already made his worst mistakes in Phoenix... I'm tired of Reinsdorf's splashy, risky, stupid head coaching picks.. there's plenty of experienced coaches who could EASILY be persuaded to come to a dynasty franchise like the Bulls in a great basketball market like Chicago.

We've had 10 years of watching coaches-in-training.. what is this, an NBDL franchise or the friggin Bulls?

C'mon Jerry! Give us a heavyweight! You own a top-flight franchise! Starting acting like it!
