While watching some of the most pathetic bb that could be played by a so-called NBA team on WGN-America today, it occured to me, that at least i can be thankful that i won't ever have to spend a dime of my money, contributing to an organization that obviously could care less if they ever provide something, that would even resemble competitive bb. I pity the fools who are paying probably upwards of 40-50 dollars a game to watch garbage. Since i see in box scores that there's usually sellouts at the U.C., i have to assume that the bb fans of Chicago just love the game itself, and look forward to watching opponents players come in and light up a team which wouldn't know the word defense if it bit them on the fanny. All i can say is, better thee than me, as i can promise Reinsdorf would go out of business long before i'd contribute to what i saw on TV today.

If Del Negro has lost the locker room, then that's extremely sad.

EXCELLENT POST!! Rod, in the pre-Jordan era, when the Bulls were the dregs of the NBA much like they are today, I used to go to games to watch Larry Bird, Kareem Jabbar, Julius Erving et. al. Guys like Orlando Woolridge of the Bulls were on the floor but who cared. And I can guarantee you that I DID NOT pay 40-50 bucks to watch those Bulls get blown out. I have no idea why ANYONE would pay that kind of money to watch this poor resemblance of an NBA team. Starting with Reinsdorf on down to Cedric Simmons, this is a pathetic organization. Times are tight. Why waste money and breath on an organization as passionless as this one? Only when people stop going, will changes happen. Incidentally, this is the same remedy for the Bears.

This is Paxson's joke of a team. He has been a horrible GM with drafting Noah for example among other non-talents he has broght in. I don't now how he still has a job...

This current Bulls team is a complete embarrassment to professional sports. One of the biggest markets in sports and this is the best Paxson can do. I'm quite frankly tired of the constant rebuilding, anyways, I predict another lottery pick coming this off season.

Jerry, do the right thing and spring another "holiday surprise". Rid of us the Domer as the GM. The Hawk was a better GM hire.

of course i didn't watch the game nor will I waste my time and help the sponsors, but I heard commentary that the reason Rose didn't have any assists because every time he fed a ball to someone they either missed their shot or took a stupid dribble because they are uncomfortable in the 'catch and shoot' that quality players are capable of doing.
So, this is a waste with the garbage he has to put up with.

Also, what's with the stupidity of fining your players after they finally win a game because they ate in the locker room? Is that going to affect their performance? That's why the Bulls are one of the laughingstocks of pro sports.

The Bulls organization should be on their knees to their full house fans. This was a butt whipping of epic proportions. Reinsdorf and Paxon better get their act together because the Bulls can easily become the Chicago Blackhawks 2003 where there were more players than fans at the United Center. Get your team together Paxon. You've had over 6 years!

The Bulls are like the Bears...they both enjoy regressing, show little heart and just really aren't that good...fabulous job Paxson....you put a helluva team together...then hire a coach the players laugh at behind his back, walk all over, etc...yikes! business as usual at the UC...

Wow this is really bad. I grew up in Chicago loved the Walker, Sloan, Love, Stormin Norman Bulls in the 70's, started going to games in the early 80's when seats under the basket were $12. Then the Jordan era came and the Bulls became the world's team. This current bunch seems particularly loathsome. Mediocre talent, high salarys and no heart

Paxon was a great role player in his day but his days should be numbered as the GM if he does not pull some kind of trade and get rid of the malcontents and overpaid stiffs like Deng,Hughes and Thomas and bring in someone with some toughness and will to win.

A couple of thoughts...

As long as these yuppies with so much disposable income are around, they'll always be a full house. 3/4's the people who come to the games, don't even know what's going on on the court.
Have you sen the clever marketing the Bulls deploy? You gotta give them credit. The Bulls could be playing a D-League team and they'd draw 20,000.
Also, Can someone PLEASE tell me why Paxson and Reinsdorf are NOT HELD accountable fore this mess? how long has it been since Pippen and Jordan's departure? I guess there is no since of urgency, when you got a full house every night.
Lastly, don't be surprised if Vinny does'nt have a mutiny on his hands as well. Like someone said earlier, these guys have "Guaranteed" contracts, are "prima-donnas", think they all are all-stars. You can't really do anything to these guys to hurt them. They lack the motivation of past players because they make so much money. I just hope this current crop of Bulls Mopes, don't corrupt Rose. personally, I'd flush 85% of this team and <gasp> start all over again for the umpteenth time since Pippen and Jordan left. STARTING WITHE THE GM, John Paxson!!!

21,800 people? Wow, all to go see a loser with loser leadership. Rich white folks from the north shore and nw burbs from both season ticket holders and Corporate holders. Idiots the Lot of you, all looking to be entertained but choosing the wrong team and venue. Thanks for helping keep this complacent leadership continue. Are you the same goofs going to the Bears games too?

Lovie and Angelo...Pax and whomever for Coach...on and on.

7.25 for a beer...20 bucks to park for the UC

Suckers the whole lot of you and the same ones that make the rest of us suffer as you continue to support losing leadership and losing players.

Was hoping most of you had invested your money with Bernie Madoff and you wouldnt be able to afford the "entertainment" any longer...darn it, now we all continue to suffer as you fund this nonsense.
