Schedule flip offers good opportunity

Full story: Chicago Tribune

Only four teams in the Eastern Conference own better home records than the Bulls, which matters about as much as a campaign promise if you watched the New Year's Eve debacle against Orlando.

If the same Bulls team, which has played the last two games comes to play, then i'm not sure they could beat a collegiate team, much less the four weakest teams in the NBA. In fact, the team we've seen the last two games will be fortunate to split the next four games, which would be a travesty.

If this team continues to play without the effort and heart that they've shown the last two games, i really, really hope the home fans get off their hands and voice their displeasure, over what they're having to pay large amounts of money for. I'm fortunate in that i live out of state, and won't be tempted to show up for games at the U.C., and contribute to an organization which for the last 10 years seems content to sit on their laurels, and reap the rewards that M.J., Scottie and company brought them. I know i'm not preaching anything new, by saying the only way to persuade change is not by boos, but by not providing income to the organization, and that's done by not going and dropping 200-300 dollars for a family of four. Fans of the Bulls deserve better than they're recieving.

The NBA is very close to going the way the NHL did...
People can see the players don't put out during the regular season...
I cannot think of a worse entertainment value for the dollar.

That's probably a good guess, Horace, but I would think they'd hire someone that can read and write.
Besides, this is a Topix board, if I'm not mistaken.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Sagittarius

You're wearing rose-tinted glasses today, especially when you look at some of the special people in your life. Right now you only want to see their good points and you'll deliberately turn a blind eye to any faults that might be on show. If you can escape from the real world for a day with you-know-who you'll have a marvelously romantic and emotional time together. But do your best to come back to earth tomorrow.
