Only 47 losses, no way! This team will lose at least 52 and end up with another high round draft pick that means nothing. Move the team somewhere else.

i'm THE biggest bulls fan on earth! i grew up south of the city, now live in cali, and haven't missed a game in like fifteen years...in other words no fair-weather-fan. i'm sick to death of hearing what's coming out of everybody's mouths in the entire organization. hearing deng say that we're not playing a full game, we're playing in spurts, and we need to pick up the intensity is flat out pathetic! that was the problem last year. nothing has changed. if you knew that was a major problem last year wouldn't you, as a player, do everything to ensure that it doesn't happen again? these guys have already decided not to play hard, not to commit to defense, and the eighteen guards on our roster will be a problem until a trade is made. tyrus thomas taking jumpers with a foot on the three point line...really? the opener against the bucks might be somewhat competive and then we get to play boston on halloween...trick or treat! vinny del negro has been given lemons and now he's going to make piss-water. i sure hope i'm wrong, but i doubt it.

Yo Vinnie, how much time you need to figure out you don't have a reliable frontline scorer and most of your players are one dimensional. Oh, yeah, your experienced players aren't going to like sitting on the bench watching your rooke point guard find his way in the league. If you had a real go to guy to help him out maybe you could get away with Rose getting major minutes. But with the assorment of characters on this team it won't be the fans who lose patience with the coach, it will be the veteran players. When that happens it will be every man for himself and who ever can get out of dodge first will be the big winner. In three years, when Rose is ready to play point on a championship team, only 1 or two other current players will still be on the roster. Until then it is really just a game of musical chairs, or maybe deck chairs on the titanic with skipper vinnie.

here's the preffered starting line-up. gray, gooden, nocioni, rose, hinrich. now go and see how many games you can win with that bunch in the nba. if you can't get rid of the losers, then you will lose.

Ferdinand- agreed with all your points. only thing left is for fans to stay away. force this team to make some changes, but with Uncle Jerry liking dribble-dribble-clank heinrich-he ain't going nowhere. gunner gordon will have a good year and move on. deng is no leader on the floor. shoot and miss nocioni needs to go. we are stuck with the Joker, Tyrus and the kid will eventually get frustrated. del negro is another tim floyd- he'll quit too. then paxson will be fired. it'll be each man for himself. i predict 30 wins maybe. sorry bulls fans.

5 guards. Not one of them an all star. What a joke.

Its just plain unbelievable that a group of millionaires like Chicago Bulls team players can't stop eating Crispy Cream doughnuts and smoking who knows what, and go out and play the game with the hunger of a Proviso East or Evanston High School basketball team will do year in and year out.
What does it mean? The product stops at the NBA level? or what? I see that the Bulls are ranked 4th in their division. That means about 20th overall? Who drafted these guys, and who's head should be on the block.
Look at the people we could have had who are producing around the league and the writings on the wall.
IF they can't win at least 50% of the time, the should change their name to Ken Harrelson's favorite, "The Wimps". That "And now, for your Chicago Bulls" stampeding through the city is getting a bit much.

Sounds like Del Negro may already be throwing in the towel--"don't judge us by our first month." Drew Gooden is right; it will be yet another rebuilding year. It's too bad.

I've never understood how an experienced player like Deng can say something like "I know it's still preseason. But we have to start competing more out there." The good teams compete even in the preseason. Look at the NBA preseason rankings. Which teams have the best preseason records? The teams that were in the playoffs last year. None of them are blowing off the preseason games as unimportant like our players and coaches are doing.

I do not believe the Bulls have any mentally tough players I pray Del Negro is mentally tough. Skiles is mentally tough and it got him through 3 tough years with these weaklings.

you people, are going to be all over the bulls at the end the of the year and derrick will be best pg in the east. come on people look at this team the nba as lost so many fans over the years. the nba need the bulls to do good.why in hell would they get the first pick to the bulls.

Every team has injuries. Enough with the excuses. Besides, injuries can't affect the Bulls that much given that few of these guys know how to play anyway.

UNBELIEVABLE that the clock is already ticking for Del Negro. Skiles was honest, too honest, during last year's pre-season and Pax thanked him for his honesty by ultimately firing him on Christmas Eve!

The problem is Pax. He lucked out by getting the #1 pick, he didn't deserve it, and they will milk Rose as long as they can with marketing but the result will be the same.

Let Mark Cuban buy the Cubs, then throw in a couple of cheese dogs, fries, the Bulls, and future rights to Eddie Robinson and his offspring.

Has Del Negro's inexperience as a coach resulted in a team that does not know how to play well together as a group, even if individual players seem to be quite good, if not above average? Or are our players just not that good?

This is all on the head of John "I won't make a deal" Paxson!!!! There is alot of talent on this team, just not a good mix. Too many tweeners and guys playing out of position! The last three years the Bulls were suppose to be major players in the offseason, and trade deadline! Still nothing gets done. Garnett, Gasol, were there for the taking and still nothing gets done. They never had a realistic shot at Kobe.

And let's not forget the past two drafts before we lucked up and got Derrick Rose this year:

1. Traded Lamarcus Aldrigde for Tyrus Thomas(I do like Tyrus but a post player was needed)!
2. Draft Joakim Noah when Spencer Hawes(who some experts predict to have a breakout year)was available.
3. Signing Ben Wallace! Enough said!!!
4. Giving Tyson Chandler(a double double guy now) away for guys who are no longer on the roster!

John Paxson is turning into the Matt Millen of basketball!!!

well, for one thing, he now has 70 million dollars which, technically speaking, is eff phew money. ben gordon is a big crybaby, a very selfish player. i've seen him quit on his team mates many times.

gooden recaptures the hustle of rodman.

hinrich really doesn't seem to know how to run the offense.

joakim is a good kid. finished last year with 7pg and 6rpg. saw him make two free throws (in a row!!) the other day.

This season is looking allot like the first full season without Jordan (excluding the lock-out season).
An incorrect 1st round pick, should have been Francis then.
A 1st year coach, who likely shouldn't be a coach.
An underachieving team surrounded by a number of players who could be all-stars on other teams but won't amount to much put together on one team.
And a guy who got a big contract, Deng (then it was Brent? Barry) who isn't going to be worth it.
The only way to get rid of some players is to do a garbage for garbage trade and hope "we" can do something with those players (sorry already tried last year, and not working out too well).
Oh, well, at least the Bears have been entertaining so far and being in Boston, watching the Celtics will be fun.

Fire Paxson. Trade Hinrich, Gordon, and Hughes for one legit inside scoring threat. Fire Paxson. Did I mention, FIRE PAXSON?! This team is a joke, I'm not going to waste any time or money on this joke of a team. One last thing, FIRE PAXSON!!!
