I beleive that Boozer would be A nice fit, however what the heat needs is a center.

I disagree completely. Boozer would be a terrible fit - from his salary demands and to his game. Even if Marion is gone - he just doesn't fit with both UD & Beasley. The dude plays BELOW the rim like UD and Beasley. What's he bring? He's not a great passer nor quick - you saw his game at the Olympics - he got abused in every way and not particularly a great defender. He's basically a half-court player who stops the offense when he gets the ball. Now if he takes 5 mill a year - yeah ok sign him. The Heat need a center with a fierce defensive spirit who plays ABOVE the rim.

- like a young Zo or who like everyone else wants - Chris Bosh. Also, Boozer has a history of fading in the playoffs and has terrible shooting form. I'm tired of hearing his name always being mentioned and surprised that Ira wrote this ridiculous article. I don't care if he lives here or how nice he is or what he does here - he'd be an awful fit!

Heatastic - I agree, Beasley will develop into a better forward than Boozer will ever be and B-easy comes on the cheap. We really don't need another below the rim player, I'd rather keep Marion...I love how this team is growing together, everyone is finding their niche. From Cook to Quinn to Chalmers to Anthony..I had the same feeling about the 2003 team. All we need is for Beasley to grow up a little faster even though he's only 19..GO HEAT!!

b-easy has shown improvement give him a couple more games you already see how much better he is on both sides of the ball compared to the first game of the season i love what erik spoelstra has done with the team chalmers is the steal of the draft wade is playing out of his mind in every aspect now if we can get magloire even close to how he played for charlotte you will see a team that no one wants to play all they need is that inside presence, thier backcourt is unstoppable and chalmers also still has some growing up to do i see a very bright future

I have no problem with Carlos Boozer (or any other type of boozer) but pf is simply not an area of need for the HEAT.

He certainly does not look like a center prospect.

No we don't need Boozer. We already have Haslem and Beasley. We need a Center and a PG.

We dont need Boozer! I dont want another undersized forward on the team. I want us to spend the money wisely, because 2010 is the year we need to worry about. Not that we have a chance at LeBron, but I would like to see the team go after Bosh and/or Dalembert. With the money we will have available, we can add another top flight player, to go with Wade, Chalmders, Beasley, etc. NO TO BOOZER!

not saying that the heat needs him but with a premier big like boozer thats one of the leagues best he could come in handy to the heat i have to admit he would be a great fit

we'll that's a good thing, but still Heat is undersized in the paint, when does Pryzbilla's contract due? i think he's a good fit for them, a hustling big man with a knack of getting rebounds and blocking shots. pryzbilla,boozer,beasely,d-wad e,chalmers is a tough core.
