I can tell this coach is either intimidated by Riley's presence or is making rookie mistakes. Blount does not rebound, block shots and he doesn't play any D, we obviously don't need his scoring as much. Put Beasley in with either Haslem or Joel Anthony at center and don't even bring Blount from the bench, sit his big arse on the bench until he grows some xxxxxx.

i think beasley can take over wade superstar in two years it's sad when you have a gifted God given talent like beasley and you don't want to put him on the game you have to be really a stupid coach unless you have a team like the celtic or lakers a team full of superstar when you have a team like the heat the only player on this team is wade the rest of them are useless you can't even trade them because no other team want them you have to put beasley in the game don't be like pat riley who hates rookies the reason you are coaching this team is because this team is not good wait to see when this team is good again pat will fire you just like van gundy and take over this team just to get the glory just start beasley in the game i love ud haslem but he is just a back up starter that's the reason he did not get drafted if you want to be a successful coach you'll put beasley in the starting lineup unless you have kg or lebron james or carlos boozer

Looks a lot like the line-up that won a whopping 15 games! I wish we had let someone take Beasley that wanted to win! This team is an embaresment ! Who told this guy he could coach anyway?
One rebound??? I am 5'10" and could get at least 2 just by getting in the way of someone else! Blount? Give me a break!

Any NBA coach that doesn't start Beasley needs to be fired!

There are a lot of NBA starters without half his offensive talent that play equally if not far worse than him on defense.

I don't care what your excuses are. Start Beasley and make him the focus of the offense and let Wade play off him.

I Have been say this since D wade came to the Heat. Dwade is a special player and alittle like jordon and to but him in a Two guard offensive makes no sense to me. As we see again this year he will be the best Point Guard on the Team and the best play maker and is the only one that can make others better around him. He needs to have the Ball in his hands and make the Decision . What the heat need to do is watch the early years of the Bulls and LEARN FROM THOSE GAME TAPES!!!!

It looks like last years team. Playing the same old not so great players. Like McCane and Bush, is our new coach and Riley. Riley wants to run this team thru Spoelstra and you know what that means. Another year of disaster.

Stay at home until Blount (not an NBA player at all) and Quinn (shooting 1-7) stay on the bench. People who are willing to buy tickets and travel want to see the new players if the team was terrible last year. Here's the hint again, you need to run, run, run, run. Start with Banks, Wade, Matrix, Beasley, Haslim at Center. Rotate Anthony, Magloire, Padgett (mr fundamentlas) at center based on performance behind Haslim use their fouls protect the middle. Rotate Chalmers (I can shoot), and Livingston (starting next year) at point. Have Cook and Diawara spell wade based on the situation, defense or offense. Wright rotates with Matrix and Beasley, then, sit back and watch the game you idiot. Maybe some fans will start to show up. Not playing Beasley after last year's record is the act of an idiot that doesn't realize this year is about putting an exciting product on the floor. Quinn and Blount were on the floor last year when 1) we lost, and 2) no fans attended games, the fricking DJ is not the draw.

Thanks for the title Riley, SEE YA, this isn't a half court squad! Last year you axed all the shooters and had Shaq going 1 on 5. Blount and Quinn must eat at the captain's table, there is no other way to explain what's going on???? I agree no one wants to see these guys play live, I might as well drink at the bar outside the arena and watch it on the TV.

Not starting Beasley is one thing but doing it so you can start Blount is nuts. Since there is quite obviously no decent starting center why not give the Haslem, Beasley, Marion and Wade lineup the minutes?

I think Blount is useless too, but we need to keep him in the lineup showing his pop shot from 15 feet, so other teams get enamored with the idea and trade for him. Let's face it, he has a good face-to-the-basket game, but no post-up and defense.

I am still against starting Beastly. I know he is a, well, beast putting points on the boards - and that is coming off the bench - but we have a precedent with Wade. He didn't become a starter until halfway through his first season. I am sure he will be there at the end of the game along with Wade and possibly Chalmers.

We are paying entirely too much attention to Ira's negativity. he wants Riley to produce a 10-point, 10-rebound, 3-blocks per game behemoth out of thin air. He wants Dwight Howard in a heat uniform, I imagine by osmosis, without giving away anything, or by giving away unwanted players who for no apparent reason, become wanted by virtue of... nothing.

The age of miracles is not upon us. We have to work with what we have, and groom our young studs. Howard, Bosh, Bogut, you name him, didn't become a game-changer in his first game. Yes, that includes Wade AND Jordan.

We have a team that is only returning 1/3 of last year's lineup, so let's give them a little time to marinate and become cohesive.

The thing about it is coach spo has said that it's not about who's who, you have to earn a starting role...clearly beasley has done so more than marion, haslem and blount combined...the best lineup right now is banks(tell livingston is ready) wade beasley marion and anthony
