This is funny! Lighten up Dems. Wasting tax payers money!? How?! He signed a piece of paper, that took all of 5 seconds. We have enough CRAP going on in our country, debt, murders, rapes, molesters...he does something FUN and light hearted and he's a jerk for it?! You all are ridiculous. Governor Strickland sang to keep LeBum in Ohio. Were you all worrying about tax $$ and time spent, then?! Just checkin...

Find something else to complain about folks....seriously!
The government never does ANYTHING that fast unless of course it will only affect themselves in a positive way. Him and his staff probably wasted the whole morning. And besides...its the princple of the matter.

Well of course we did because we just can't spend it wisely.

I hope being an honorary Ohioan doesn't mean they will get laid off like real Ohioans!

Can't Kasuck find anything better to with with his time? Where are all those jobs he promised? What an idiot! Even the Mavs are probably thinking that this is a little strange!

If Kasuck loves Texas so much, then why don't he go there!

LOL. I seriously doubt that anyone on the Mavs gives a rat's xxx if they are honorary Ohioans or not.

I like the Dispatch's Sports headline better. It went something like "Sorry LeBron. Mavericks take their talent to South Beach and win NBA title."

While I am not a JK fan, it was somewhat funny, in a geeky way.

What the heck? That is nothing political just something fun he wanted to do. Is courting Mark Cuban to buy Ohio or something.

Find a more productive way to spend your day Mr. Governor.

Kasich Declares Dallas Mavericks "Honorary Ohioans".
Wonder if Kasich gave that blessing to his cabinet staff when he hired them and THEN brought them to Ohio.

Dear Kasich you talk loyalty. Well first of all while you celebrate the mavs and their victory did you forget that Jason Kidd was once a Dallas Maverick and left Dirk for a better opportunity. People often leave for to see other places but never forget where they come from. Why would Lebron or anyone from Ohio want to do the same as Jason Kidd if people like you do things like this. What has anyone on the or in the Mavs organization do for the State of Ohio. Just lacks class. Im ashamed. Im disgusted. Imappaled. It would be different if this was a result of a bet between 2 governors. Ohio has nothing vested nothing to gain from this win. It was clearly aimed at Lebron James for leaving. Mr. Governor last I checked no one from the mavs has contributed to anything being built or giving to any charity in the State of Ohio. Lebron James still owns a home and pays taxes to the state of Ohio. Not one player on the Mavs does the same.

All of you that are complaining about JK not doing his job are the same ones that complain when he does.

It's called HYPOCRISY........

Folks, lighten up. Like JK or not, this is funny & it wasted less state funds than a state worker taking an extended coffee break.

Is it his fault he can't find qualified people in Ohio to run Ohio? If the anti-business climate in Ohio changes maybe the next administration won't have to go out of state. Maybe?

Really are you people complaining about the governer? Is he not aloud to have a life of some sort?Grow up, and remember that he is human too!I work very high up in govt here in Columbus, and believe me,he busts his butt everyday to fix this state that strickland F'd up so badly. remember,Dont pull a Lebron and think that you can change something instantly! And by the way, every time he talks,it doesnt take your money away! That just comes to show how much you pay attention to detail. Now,instead of being on here complaining, why dont you get back to work(on on lunch, so dont tell me to do the same)!
