George should by hailed as a local hero. He has saved the Mavs from self destruction and kept there Championship possibility alive. The cost for Jason Kidd, an over the hill soon to be has been is too high. A fairer trade would be ager for Kidd, they would both be about as useful and will be around about the same length of time. The Mavs are better without Kidd.

If Devean George has killed this deal, he will be one of my favorite Mavs. It's a stupid deal, trading the bench and the future for a "maybe" right now. The Mavs lost the 2006 and 2007 playoffs because they were outcoached by two very experienced and savvy coaches who knew how to overcome being underdogs. That doesn't mean I want to get rid of Avery Johnson. He will be one of the best coaches in the league just as Devin Harris will be one of the best point guards in the league very soon if he isn't already. When we get all our injured players healthy, we have a team that can win it all. Don't destroy the team, Mark.

The Mavs are crazy for making the trade. I don't think that I will be watching the Mavs any more. I don't blame Deven George for not wanting to go to The Nets. WE WILL MISS ALL OF YOU!

I don't blame Devon George for not wanting to go to the Nets. It doesn't make sense for the Mavs to trade all of our players for Jason Kidd and the other guy (who ever he is). The Mavs just lost a fan for ever.

It would be nice if Mark Cuban could read these comments and that this would be the end to this insane trade, but as we have all come to know, if there is a stupid move to make, Cuban will make it.

Devean George, you're my hero! to change the chemistry in mid-season would have been tragic... what is Mark Cuban thinking?/Devin Harris is not in his prime as point guard and does things nobody else can do- swiveling down the middle like a minnow to drop in a basket- and kidd is going on the down side of his prime. I hope this trade is permanently blocked!
Yea George!!!

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
