IU Exposed for the fraud that it is. This is what happens when you play a Division 1 program. Not a good one, but a mediocre one that plays Div 1 ball. You can't rely on tossing up 3 pointers all the time, now can you? IU's inside game is weak.
"IU has a great team" Pffffft! Give me a break. SIU is going to kill you guys. prepare for 2 more straight losses.
Where is all the National Championship talk now?

Oh yeah baby NCAA championship here we come, we can't lose, it's a sure thing.
Ummmmmmm we were beaten by X, dammit fire Sampson now, this guy can't recruit, he can't coach, he wears the same shirt every game. The world is over as we know it.

It's easy when you play scrub teams at Assembly Hall. This is what happens when you play a good team on a neutral court. IU didn't even make a run at them in the second half. Gordon had no assists, steals or rebounds. How pathetic.

It is fun watching all the Illi-NOISE criers for months, then happy when the *prize* they lost had a sub-par game.
Must be fun to never pay any attention to their own team. They gotta hang out on the Hoosier forum which tells me, their team sucks. Too bad my life doesn't revolve around trying to downgrade others like other little children.
I'll still take the experts opinion of the Hoosier team other than some bonehead loser in a dorm without a date.

These are games you learn from. Best thing to happen is for Hoosiers to understand how hard they have to play all the time, because other teams will bring their A game against them. X is no slouch, and losing to them is no disgrace. Now we'll see how good they are when they come back against Georgia Tech. Gordon and 3 pointers can't do it all. They need to work it into DJ more.

They lost to Miami of Ohio on 11/13. Tired legs mean no 3's. IU has no interior game, and if you run them the whole game they will be too tired to hit the 3's. I great victory for Xavier and mankind.

This is going to be a long season if we can't play as a team. I have never seen a Hoosier team like this. The players look like they are starving for shots and can't seem to play defense or rebound. Jordan Crawford is real bad about putting up poor shots. I have realized that every 2 or 3 times he touches the ball he is going to shoot no matter what. Things need to change. Sampson acted as if their wasn't a problem in his post game comments. Maybe he is that stupid!

Those refs were pro-Xavier all night. Gordon didn't get a call all night either. He is a superstar and should get EVERY call. If that game was at IU we would have one by 15.

Another great quote by 'Hoosierdaddy': "Xavier got waxed by the Miami Redhawks on X's home floor. Decent competition? HAH...go away" I'd say X is decent, seeing how they'll be the Nat. champs' only defeat.

They got one of them new fangled stop lights in Greens Fork yet, or do you need another 50 people to move into your trailer park. I ate at Joann's cafe the other day and she said you best mind your manners son.

Are you serious?!? It was a NEUTRAL court and IU was hand checking the whole game. The refs were being nice to IU and not calling everything on them. I can't believe you are even suggesting this. Wow, just Wow!

I figured the anti-Sampson faction would be out in full force after this game. Go ahead and have your fun while you can, because tonight's loss is what good teams learn from. This club needs to get serious about defense. Given Sampson's track record, they will.

They better bring their 'A' game to Carbondale next weekend because if they don't...haha...SIU plays the best man defense they'll ever see...good luck Nat'l Champs!

Actually I watched Miami(OH)last night against USC with all-world freshman O.J. Mayo. Not that USC are world beaters, but given the talent levels of both squads put on paper and USC should have runaway, but they struggled just to win the game. It was 55-51 final if I remember correctly. Miami(OH) is actually picked to win the MAC this year hands down. IU would definitely struggle against them. IU shouldn't have lost tonight, but you live by the 3, you better prepare to die by the 3. That better change, esp. before the Big Ten rolls around in just over a month. Also, IU playing only one "true" road game may also be a bad thing latter on in the season. They will probably lose that game to at SIU. Hope not though. Will thump GT by at least 10 b/c at IU.

Well now teams have a blue print for how to beat us, it will be interesting to see what adjustments Sampson makes to learn from this and get ready for the Big Ten schedule...
