Bulls fans, NBA fans in general, the phrase "losing players for nothing" where did that come from? John Paxson?I'd like someone to tell me how signing players who have repeatedly made it clear they don't want to be here even when offered ridiculous amounts of cash over market value is losing something. Deng does not play like a $70 or 80 Mill player, and from the looks of things he never will. Ben Gordon spat at what were by all accounts generous offers. We could have made a statement to the culture of this team that there will be accountability for bad attitudes and disloyalty. Instead, Paxson and Reinsdorf have reinforced that poisoned culture with the Deng capitulation and Gordon ongoing cancer. They should have dumped Deng, and signed Corey Maggette an athletic stud, good personality who would have actually been entertaining to watch unlike Gordon's exciting jumps-hooting thrill ride or Deng's mid range spectaulars. We could have new blood and have sent a message and changed the atmosphere of this poisoned culture currently brewing in the Chicago Bull's franchise. Instead, were stuck with slugs who disrespected the team, the franchise, and the fans. This team is a joke right now. With the right changes and leadership, guys like Gooden, Rose, Noah, Magette, and one or two other key additions could have made this a fun team to watch, and a group of guys to root for. Now were just left with a misguided, dispirited crew. Way to go Pax and Jerry. Go Bulls.
