Folks, if you aren't from Cleveland, and I mean this nicely, you don't know what the hell you are talking about, and should shut your mouths. Period. There is simply no way that you can understand what LeBron leaving felt like, you have not and never will experience that situation. And you can poo pah this comment all you want, meanwhile millions of Clevelanders will nod their heads in agreement with me. Don't tell us how we should feel, or think you know what we feel, you are incapable of doing so, just like you can't read the mind of any single human being. The whole LeBron situation in Clevleand was unique and unprecedented. The closest analogy I can think of is if John Elway had been been born and raised in Denver, went to CU-Boulder, joined the Broncos, got them to one Superbowl and lost, and then decided to go play for the Dallas Cowboys. And that still isn't the same because Denver has nowhere near the sports misery of Cleveland: no one does.
LeBron is a self-serving pompous jerk. I only root for the Bulls here because I want to see LeBron lose. But I, and all other Clevlelanders, Mr. Arace, will NOT be rooting for them because we like the Bulls. In fact, we STILL can't stand Carlos Boozer, and really hate Joaquim Noah, who trashed the entire city (but hey, when you have a face like that, what else have you got?).
In summary, if you want to comment, comment on James. Don't comment on Cleveland. It's all good on the Internet, but I have a feeling many of you would be much more reserved in your comments if you were at the corner of Ontario and Euclid.
You worshipped LeBron like he is GOD or a god. There is no GOD but GOD and there are no little gods.

You people are very sick and immature! I am talking about people who think like you. Not everyone in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio and around the state think like you. Many people appreciate LeBron James, the exceptionally talented basketball player and athlete, for his GOD given talent and skills, and still enjoy watching him play.

We are not going to hate on him because you got your feelings hurt and in your sick and immature mind he let you down.

This should be a major growth opportunity for you, rather than an enduring self-pitty party.

Quit feeling sorry for yourself; grow up and start healing, and stop worshipping human beings.

Truth hurts but without it you will never heal.

Not-so-Happy in Miami,
"You love the Black athletes as long as they stay in their place"? Huh? What? Was that the best and only direction you could take this thread? Was that all you could muster? I negatively invoked Art Modell's name in my post as well, does that make me a card carrying member of The Black Panthers?
Gloria James was recently arrested for slapping a Valet attendant while she was hammered. God bless Lebron for taking care of his mother and giving back to her for all her years of raising him alone, but he wanted to do her more favors he would insist she her G.E.D. and get some anger management too.
And how come whenever someone has an alternate opinion about any topic these days, they're a "hater"?
Taking cheap shots at his mother reveals you to be a a very little person, man or woman. You have no class!

LeBron...Hou are class act!!! Your level of maturity has always been beyond your years!!!! Great performance!!!!! People leave their jobs everyday for "better" opportunities. LeBron was not married to the city of Cleveland or to the Cavaliers. Good luck LeBron...you have a bright future. Detractors can not and will not stop your relentless pursuit of victory.

Too bad that the once "king" can't have the support and praise that he once deserved and received in Cleveland and the rest of Ohio. He turned his back on the one(s) who "brung him to the dance."
Ohio is not responsible for who "brung him to the dance". Had he been born in Indiana, he would still be one of the best athletes in the world.

You turn your back on your fans. Don't expect your fans to remain your fans. Plain and simple.

Hard to understand, as i grew up in Chicago, and was a huge MJ fan....remember being pissed when he tried baseball, but had no bad feeling, when he showed up with the Wizards....Reinsdorf killed off the Bulls, and i think the Cav's owner, could never have afforded a team of championship talent....Enjoy Lebron and Wade, don't blame the players, blame the game.....
