I have just always considered the Spurs my second team behind the Bulls just because I liked them in 98' and was really rooting for them to win it in 99'. So yes, I did kind of jump on the bandwagon a little bit. As for their current bench, they still have Finley but he's not what he used to be though. As for the rest of it, they had Ginobli coming off as the sixth man, plus Drew Gooden who I hope they bring back, Oberto and Kurt Thomas are good defenders, and George Hill might actually be something good.<quoted text>
Sorry didn't know you were a Spurs fan. But honestly if the Spurs want to win a championship they are going to have to get a better bench since they no longer have guys like Robert Horry and Michael Finely (not 100% shore on him though). And as much as I kind of hate to say it they are on the right track in the NBA draft. So maybe just maybe if the Spurs can get a few more good draft picks they might have one more championship up their sleeves. And as for the Pacer you can say what you want about them, but either way you look at it they deserved a championship in 2005 more then both the Spurs and the Stolen Pistons who turned all their fans into convicts. And as for the Stolen Pistons who turned all their fans into convicts, lets just say their championship days are going to be over for a long time just like the 18*andDONEwithoutCHEATING gay team Patriots and the Yankees. And as for the Pacers, well if they luck out tomarrow in the lottery and get Blake Griffen then they may win a few championships and become a dynasty just like the Spurs. But honestly I highly doubt the Pacers win the draft lotto and get Blake Griffen.
Sorry, but the Pacers in no way deserved a championship in 05' if you ask me. I have nothing against them, but I didn't think they anywhere near the talent as the Spurs and Pistons that year. To me, O'Neal and Artest made that team what it was, which was decent.
We all know that the Pistons championship are done and over with for a while. They just need to blow that whole team up except for Afflalo and Stuckey. I don't know if the Yankees are done winning, especially after the money they spent in the offseason. And I really do hope the Patriots are done.
As for the draft, it will interesting to see who gets Blake Griffin.
