Howard was robbed of a final round appearance... D would have brought the house down in the next round. Instead it lead to a pathetic showing by Nate Rob.... i was disappointed....Oh well..

Totally agree. Dwight was totally robbed. Even the main panel of Magic, Chuck, etc ... thought he got robbed. Hope he displays some nasty dunks in the all star game tonight!!! GO MAGIC ... GO DHOWARD!

Next year, Dwight should play to his POWER by dunking from an area (1/2 between the free-throw line & the basket) facing the basket, but REACHING BACK and slamming it down as he did last year during a regular game. It wouldn't hurt to have Grant assisting him as Paul Pierce assisted Green. DWIGHT'S POWER IS WHAT HIS COMPETITORS DON'T HAVE.

Well, I wouldn't get in a fuss over the lamer-every-year dunk contest, except that Dwight seemed to be looking forward to it so much. That said, he was robbed a spot in the finals. Even if he doesn't win, we get to see a few more spectacular dunks and not some guy who can't even make one(!) in two minutes!!

Well said by everybody. At least the dunk contest was not as bad as last year when Nate Robinson won it by default, and we saw why, this year.

Im from Seattle, and that was the best idea dunk in years. He concentrated on 2 things and accomplished them both his 1st attempt. The fans, and the announcers know who had the coolest dunk..

Why have former "dunk contestants" serve as judges?? Seems to me their "ego" got the best of them and turned a dunk contest into a "just watch these small guys" contest. Dwight's dunk has never been done before and the judges could not do it so they "didn't know how to vote". I say we should have the TNT crew, Ernie, Kenny and Charles
judge the next contest !!!
YOU GO DWIGHT !!!

I cannot believe that Howard's "sticker dunk" did not get at least a 45. That was one of the best I have seen since the old days of Dr J in the ABA. I wanted to find a way to let young Mr Howard know that he was "jobbed". i don't know if he would have beaten Mr Green, but he certainly deserved the chance. I am a season ticket holder for the Timberwolves and see a great future for Mr Howard---much like our own KG.

No doubt Howard got robbed. That sticker dunk was amazing in fact that was the first time I seen a player get that creative.
