Why no mention of how many votes he received? During baseball HOF, they always mention the 1 or 2 voters who NEVER elect a player on the first ballot regardless of how great their career was.

Anyone know if Jordan's vote was unanimous? Or were there a couple morons who don't like to vote anyone in on the first attempt.

Do you all really think Jordan is a hall of fame caliber talent? Or is it just because everyone else in the league he played with was subpar? Would he have been as good without Tony Kukok, John Paxon, Bill Wennington, and Steve Kurr? I don't think so!!!! I just wish the Jazz would have one one championship over the bulls.
You still having nightmares of when Jordan stole the ball from Karl Malone?

Even at age 46, Jordan’s competitive fire burns. When it was suggested that if North Carolina and Michigan State couldn’t settle the evening’s national championship game on the floor, perhaps Jordan, the former North Carolina star, could go one on one with ex-Spartans standout Magic Johnson.

“You really think he can beat me?" Jordan said. The Kansas City Star

I will always love the memories I have from growing up watching you play! The Best Ever!

I have no respect for Jerry Sloan. He got into the Hall because of his exploits as a coach; not, a player. He is overrated as a defensive player. He angered me when he didn't show for the funerals of Norm Van Lier or the "big Red head". Who does he think he is. Another thing, he always have given Chicago the "cold shoulder" even though Chicago media has said good things about him and looks over his melonchaly behavior/personna. I guess since he's a white boy they let him slide. His attitude is worse than Barry Bonds, it is down right nasty. Did he show for his number retirement..Heck no. Did he show for the Big Red Heads good by farewell party just before he died. Heck no. He's just a "hick" from some small farm town in downstate Illinois. But larry bird and these funni acting weird personality white boys the media leave them be. If he was black with a nasty personality they'd mess with him; keep him in the news, cause trouble, like they have done Barry Bonds. Then, all the white fans jump on the bangwagon.

Congrats MJ...If I was a girl I would marry you in a heart beat right after your divorced from Juanita. Thanks for the fun memories! I cried like a little school girl every time the Bulls lost during the 90's.

How distasteful! On a day when hundreds have died or are trapped beneath rubble in Italy's worst earthquake in decades, the Tribune chooses to put up a local sports story as its late afternoon main story? Tabloid!

In which championship game did the media find MJ on the floor crying? He ran off the court and collapsed on the floor of the locker room. I loved that! I know I got it on tape somewhere. Those championship years were the best.

If the Bulls ever win the championship again it won't be like the championships that MJ was in!
