Nice headline. When do the Knicks have "D" exactly?

A D'Antoni team with defensive lapses. Who could have seen that coming?

As I've said on different threads all season long, this knick team was flawed from the beginning. I like David Lee, but not by compensating him with a max contract. Nate Robinson is one of the most overrated players I've seen in years. The rest of the team is a collection of players other teams wanted to trade...

Let's not get crazy with all this talk about cap space being cleared for the 2010-2011 season. Does anyone honestly think the Knicks can get LBJ, DWade or Chris Bosh with the current makeup of the team? All 3 know you can't win with 1 great player and 4 role players. They're not goingo to move to NY becuase of the myth of the "allure to MSG". They want to win, 1st and foremost. They'll get their money regardless...

Time for Knick fans to take a step back and exhale...

Only saw the game to see if Courtney Sims and Joe Crawford would see some action... I kind of expected a loss like that lol. The impending changes forthcoming will hopefully be inevitable this off-season. If Saer Sene was indeed signed, now that would be a breath of fresh air (for a guy as raw as he, that says a lot about the current state of the Knicks heh).

Last year it was about getting rid of Thomas. So they got rid of Thomas. Now they are taking apart his team, and that will take 2 years. So in another year they will have a clean slate and start from scratch. If anyone thinks it takes 3 years to build a good team from scratch then the Knicks are at the end of the first year of a five year plan. If you think it takes more time, tack that on. So Knick fans get to watch the good teams who come in to play their team for who knows how long. Unfortunately there is something else wrong with the Knicks that goes beyond Dolan and Thomas. They have not won a Championship since Frazier and Monroe were in the backcourt so I don't get the myth of MSG being a Mecca for Basketball. The only NY team with a longer streak without a championship is the Jets.

in this NBA, few teams attain success by tearing down completely and rebuilding from scatch unless the plan to is make the draft lottery for the next 5 years. With a skilled management team they could have have built on the youth there and then complemented players like Gardener, Lee, Nate.. found roles for one limnited-offensively defensive players like Jefferies and Balkman..and then got what they could from the offensive players. Instead the core can't stop anyone (50+%
FG allowed) and one of the two players called the future is getting back surgery....
I have a better chance of hitting the megabucks by 2010 before they sign a signicant FA... yea but at least Isiah's not there... the guy who drafted Lee... Nate.. and Gardner...
