the blame-it-on-Isiah excuse is getting old. 3 of the 6 Isiah holdovers are major contributors (Lee, Chandler and Nate) Of Curry, Jefferies and Q-Brick. Jefferies has some value on Def on a team that doesn't play much of any but he makes too much for defensive specialist. All the rest will be gone, which is the problem. Wwhy bother to follow a team that intends to turnover half the roster in the next two years. they probably hope to get Lee and Nate on the cheap... they'll find a way to mess that up too

I hope they get it lucky, It seems in the past the Knicks would always have the 6th pick in a draft with only 5 can't miss stars. And then we have the C Frederic Weis (instead Artest, just because he Weiss was 7 ft) and Channing Frye (instead of Andrew Bynum because they already had signed C Jerome James for $30 mil). and last year Gainari (who we're told will be Larry Bird in 3 years) when guys like Lopez were available...

The new management has no choice but to get it right as far as rebuilding the team.
They have a glaring weakness in their interior defense that needs to be addressed by acquiring a shot blocking presence as well as a quality defender.
Opponents have had easy access to layups and dunks with little to no resistance.

The "blame-it-on-Isiah excuse is getting old"? Are you serious?...

All one needs to see is Eddy "Baby Huey" Curry either sitting on a bench or on the injured list is enough to say the "blame-it-on-Isiah excuse" is NOT getting old, only the reality...

As for David Lee and Nate Robinson is concerned, I certainly would NOT pay a max or near max money contract for David Lee and certainly NOT for Nate Robinson. David Lee is a solid, consistent contributor, nothing more and nothing less. Nate Robinson has nice skills for a 15-18 minutes a game. Anymore time he's on the court, he appears to self destruct and then the team starts to unravel...

If not for Donnie Walsh's patience, the Knick would have the bloated conracts of Jamal Crawford, Zach Randolph, and last but not least, Jerome James because Isiah would have kept them.,,

The excuse is not old at all until the team is gutted of players from the past...

Eddy Curry is a very poor rebounder and defender.
They need someone that offers those two qualities if they are going to win in the future.

okay and you believe 'gutting' the taem is the way to entice anyone from the 2010 Free agent class? You'll still be buying that party line 10 years from now.

a coach with no clue how to set up team defense, No playoffs, cconsecutive lottery's and no #1 pick in 2010... yea he'll need patience all right

His cotract runs out next year and Phoenix may either trade him if they can't re-sign him to get something for him. Or they can sign and trade him.
Being that Phoenix didn't make the playoffs and Nash is aging, he may want to start over somewhere else.
Anything is possible.

Barbosa is young and one of Phoenix's core players. The problem with Phoenix is that they are an old team with old players.
For them to give up a young player, they would have to recieve the same in return and possibly draft picks, Phoenix will be rebuilding in about a year or so since they didn't make the playoffs.
You never know what may happen between now and then, anything is possible.

yeah, but not that old,at least 4 or 5 players are over 30 on the suns, and i think they might keep stromile swift, cuz hes a good defensive player, and they might keep barbosa cuz hes still young,or they might just keep all the young players, and get rid of the old ones, lol
