The number that mattered most for the Knicks this season did not involve the record or the team's scoring average or even the amount of games out of a playoff berth.

D'An is going to regret his comment "who is that" to an inquiry about trading Balkman as a mistake. You have to be a fool to believe it wasn't a mistake. They got no one in return. Alan Hahn was in on the deal too. He was all for it, he sure as heck wasn't against it, at the time. I've said it before the trade, after the trade and I'll say it again now and after tonights Denver romp on the Knicks. Balkman is a great player because he can Block shots, run the floor, tip in balls, pass the ball, finish off the break, make great open court steals, rebound AND because he has the heart of a lion. Watch his games in the garden while he was in college. It is more likely he would have played more than Chandler and Gallo because he is multifaceted, oh and I forgot he is a good defender above. He adds life to the game and plays all out. You can't get enough players like that. D'an come on, you could have even played Balkman, Chandler and Gallo together at times. That was the WORST trade the Knicks have made since I began watching them and I remember the Pearl. You are going to eat Humble pie D'an, whether you like it or not, same goes for the trading of Collins, who is as good as Duhon, Crawford and Randolf who were all bad trades and much worst then anything Isiah did. In fact Isiah built a team that could have played for a decade with all the draft picks and Donnie and you ruined that. Hopefully you can pick up someone usefull in this years draft and make one decent free agent pickup.
