I suspect Harrison will be used as a practice "body" while Booth and Collins get healthy. Then Harrison will be released unless he shows that he is a better player than Booth or Collins. Harrison's history is as an underachiever. I don't have high hopes for him, but the kid is seven feet tall, so he has a chance.

It is time for the Wolves to start stepping up. Last years 22 win season could be explained by the absence of Garnett, and the young roster. This years team has added some veteran experience in Mike Miller, as well as an additional year of seasoning for people like McCants, Gomes, Big Al, and Foye. I don't think that the public will buy into another year of 22 win basketball. I predict they will be much more competitive, and end up with 33 wins as long as Big Al can stay healthy.

Apparently, Mr. Harrison was suspended 5 games last season for drug use. These are the kind of free agent centers that are out there at this time of the year. Go Timberwolves!

This guy definately has talent and clearly has underachieved in the NBA similarly to Micheal Olawokandi imo.

I wondered why he slipped so far in the draft honestly. I thought he would be one hell of a player and at the time wanted the Wolves to get buy/trade for an extra pick to get him. Ya never know though maybe he will come into his own now that he has been humbled as bellvueboy stated.

GL Harrison and go Wolves!

Well, I should be talking a bunch of smack to T-Wolves fans about how David Harrison sucks and is always in trouble. But you know what, I'm not going to do that. In fact I hope Harrison turns out to be a good pick up for the T-Wolves, because I've met him and well he seemed like a pretty nice determined guy. And honestly I don't think he was really that bad for where the Pacers got him in the NBA draft.

PS.
The OJ Mayo trade clearly favored the Timber Wolves over the Grizzlies.

It's still too early to tell which team got the better end of the Mayo-Love deal, but wait for a few months. Hopefully for our sake Love turns out to be the next Kevin McHale (as a player, not manager, of course), and Mayo doesn't perform to his expectations. You never know.
