Yeah, he probably won't play much in his first few seasons, but he'll still be making millions of dollars. I wish he'd stay, and I think his game would improve if he did, but I can't blame him for leaving. Millions of dollars and a few years to polish a thug lifestyle. Mark my words. Even his Daddy won't stop him from this (because Daddy will be too busy spending all of that ching of his own given to him by the little punk).

Why doesn't Bird get the flack that say Thomas gets in NYC? Bird and the Paceers are just as lousy as the Knicks.

Bird does not harrass females. Bird does not represent slime like Thomas. Bird is actually trying within what he can control. Bird is a quality human.

Went to an elementary school fundraiser the other night. There was a silent auction. I laughed out loud when I saw one item - an autographed photo of David Harrison. Happy to report it received no bids. The other items all brought great bids.

Here's an idea: Let's sign Isaiah Rider, Latrell Sprewell, Jayson Williams, Lonny Baxter, Richard Dumas, Olden Polynice, Vernon Maxwell, Tyrone Nesby, Ruben Patterson, and Cadillac Anderson and try to win a championship Chances are the Pacers would be 3x better with that roster of criminals than our roster of criminals.

Excellent! Maybe we can see if Roy Tarpley is available as the 12th man! Jay speaks for me as well. Let's give them the Pacers and call it even! Jay wrote: <quoted text> While I've never been proud of how the Baltimore Colts with thier sleazy ownership arrived in town, the basketball team and its classy ownership is off limits. You speak for yourself on this one. Remember Bob's first press conference in the Hoosier Dome, to the citizens of Indianapolis as the trucks were unpacking? "Its not "your" team, and its not "our" team, its "my" team." Well, they've never been my team.
