these 18 games could not come to a close faster. End this nightmare season and focus on the draft.

Eric Gordon can save Pacers basketball.

There is no way the Pacers will get Gordon. But that said, can you think of a worse decision for Eric if you were him? Stay at IU and who knows who will be your coach, or turn Pro and maybe land on the PACERS?? OH MY>>>>

It should be viewed as an exciting time with the Pacers.

Starting over with players that represent the values of the organization...with the goal of winning consistently....and finishing with a NBA championship.

It will take a few years, but it should be exciting and challenging. It can be done.

A difficult job for Mr. Bird and Mr. Walsh.

(I know I posted this on another forum but it seems more fitting here)

I sat in the 10th row in the lower level last night and let me tell you...

David Harrison played a HORRIBLE game. I couldn't believe the IndyStar this morning when I clicked on it and it was praising David Harrison. He came in the game, turned the ball over twice, picked up two fouls in about a minute and he missed every shot he took from within point blank range

Don't let The Star fool you. He is absolutely terrible, and for some reason O' Brien just forces him minutes.

Dear Baltimore,

We hoosiers still feel bad about stealing the Colts. Can we make it up to you? Want a basketball team?

I agree. This is a several year turn around due to long term contracts. People who say just get rid of a guy don't understand the contracts and the game.

From what I've seen of Eric Gordon, he's not ready for the NBA. He could do himself a favor and spend another year or 2 at IU, before going to the next level.

I think the Pacer organization need to clean house. If that means trading JO and waiving Tinsley, Daniels, Williams, and any other Pacer that has made the pages of this paper other than the sports page or a community service page, I think would make a great improvement in the organization. We may not win right away, but at least we could start by changing the current image of the team.

I dont know who to feel sorry for more:

Jim O'Brien for being so delusional, or The Pacers fans who have been forced to sit through the last 4 years.

BTW: you did it, Tinsley! ANOTHER year of part time availability...another mediocre year for the team. Please leave after this season. The Pacers have sucked all but one year you were here. Time to say bye bye.

He may not be ready to play significant minutes in the NBA, but the NBA is ready to draft him right now, and that's all that really matters. Yeah, he probably won't play much in his first few seasons, but he'll still be making millions of dollars. I wish he'd stay, and I think his game would improve if he did, but I can't blame him for leaving.

Keep OUR Colts OUT OF THIS. That phrase used by a Hoosier is completely taboo!

A dead guy while still living made a business decision that was controversial. NEVER SPEAK OF IT AGAIN, even in jest - because they WON'T LET GO.

I called Harrison a waste of skin last night. I was there. He looked lost on offense. He did nothing. He looked stoned and slumpy...if that's a word. I'm with the rest of the 9,000 fans that refuse to show up anymore. We should start from scratch. In my view, though, there are only 4 players that absolutely MUST go. O'neal is a whiner that is overpaid and overrated. Tinsley is irresponsible and a mediocre PG at his best. Marquis Daniels and David Harrison are good for the local marijuana market, but are useless on the court. The rest are average players that manage to stay out of trouble most of the time. We'll probably need to move some of them, but I think the cancer is in the 4 I mentioned.

I was there and I would say that Harrison definitely contributed to the win. To those who say he was junk:

He turned it over 3 times, and twice were bad, but you forget his six blocks, all on shots that could have gone in.

You also forget his deflections (I counted 4) that kept the Sonics off balance offensively.

You forget his awesome pick on Earl Watson, which directly resulted in Watson getting a technical foul on the next play (and Granger converting the free throw).

He got a few 'gimme' rebounds but at least two of them were hard-fought and Foster-esque. Foster can't play 45 minutes a game especially when he is in foul trouble so to see DH pick up some of the slack was impressive.

I still don't want to re-sign him for big bucks but he hustled and played good defense last night.

Harrison can not only block shots, he can smoke the hippie lettuce and have a tantrum, all at the same time.
Have a nice career oversees, Dave. Play in Sweden, the chronic is legal their.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
