UCLA should have attacked earlier instead of waiting around until their was only a few seconds left on the clock. Not only is passing the ball around the perimeter boring to watch but it puts too much pressure on the offense to score in the last few seconds. Even though coach Howland has brought about renaissance at UCLA I think they go overboard in the milk the clock thing and it cost them the game this time. UCLA has the best personnel in the Pac-10 and they should be running up and down the court and scoring in the 80's and 90's in games like this.

I was at the game.
I felt as though every time UCLA went on offense, the players lapsed into a game of "Twister."
Guys, you do not have to keep one foot on the blue dot and one on the red dot. You are allowed to move on offense.
With no movement away from the ball, UCLA's offense came to a halt.
It seemed as though no one on the team had ever encountered a 2-3 match-up zone defense.

It's all good, plenty of games left in the season!!!! No need to be so serious, this is not football where if you lose one game your out of the picture....

We had the same problem with Michigan's zone offence, I think we should of been setting some outside screens & drilled some three's. I mean we have good shooters, im sure we would of knocked some down & then that would of broke up their defence a bit. I know it's easier said then done, but we will be alright & im hoping to go as far as the elite eight in the tournament this year. Go Bruins!!

you can be sure the rest of the PAC10 will be throwing up the Zone right away.
