I note Collison looks noticeable thicker than a year ago, and noticeably slower. Will Justin Dentmon hold him to 1-8 again?

Howland has never had much of an offense, but why are the Bruins only 7th in the conference in field goal defense? I thought Howland was supposed to be some kind of genius.

To "doubter"...and your team from Corvallis is a real winner ? When did the Beavers make the NCAA tournament...waaaaay back when Ralph Miller was head coach ? Please, refresh our memories.

Doubter asked valid questions. I think Collison is a fine player, but we've seen him outplayed by the nation's best guards repeatedly, including in the NCAAs. As for Howland, his teams peak defensively at the end of the season, no worries there. However, I am concerned about the inability to get the ball into the post on offense. Even Kevin Love complained that he didn't get enough touches last year. I want to see if the freshmen guards and J'mison Morgan can develop a better inside game.

i love ucla but lets be honest they are no where near championship material. in the the big dance everyone of the bruins would have to shoot well and defend to win that never happens. two or three play well and two or three play sub par. today collision said he would get ucla back on track. right with his poor shooting and afraid of the paint. don't count on it.
