Two interesting nuggets here:

1. From head poobah himself, K.Rambis: "The guys are starting to trust him more. They like to give him the ball because they know he's a willing passer." Let's see, if that's a condition of trust, how's the trust level of the guys for Al Jefferson?

2. From Mr. Milicic: "You can't be consistent in this league if you're up and down all the time with your minutes."

Mr. Rambis, in your desperate and failing attempt to appear like a mini-Zen master, you might want to read those two quotes a few times.

Darko has played pretty well with the minutes he has received so far, especially when considering the condiditioning issues and unfamiliarity with teammates. I hope Darko returns, but without conditions. Darko is the best interior passer on the Wolve's roster and will team nicely with Love. Both can shoot, rebound, and play inside or outside. The Strib reported that Darko wanted some guarantee that he would start, which may have been erroneous reporting. I don't think you can make any player that guarantee as a coach has to have the flexibility to dispense minutes as he sees fit.

It is probably time to think about moving Big Al. Big Al can't/won't (your choice) defend at an NBA level and also can't/won't (again, your choice) move the ball. When the ball comes in to Al it doesn't often come back out.

With the T-Wolves draft luck, they will probably get jumped come lottery time. Wes Johnson would make a very nice, and also safe, pick at the three slot. Johnson has good length, a reliable shot, good quickness, and is a AAA person. His only real shortcoming is not having a reliable "handle".

has some talent, put up good numbers vs. the lakers. he's never really had a chance, and we could sure use a center. promise him at least 20 minutes a game, and sign him up.

Please Please Please, let us get #1 or 2 in the draft. If you can get Evan Turner, you can move Corey Brewer back to the 3.

Move Big Al out, and you've got a starting 5 of Flynn, Turner, Brewer, Love, & Darko with Gomez & Sessions off the bench. That's actually a nucleus I could get excited about.

Darko is a steal. Only 24, the equivelant of two years out of college, about the time a big man would come into his own. He has all the things the wolves have been looking for in a center: foot work, shot blocking, toughness inside, offensive options, decent defender. Let's them look for a scorer in the draft.

getting anything of value for big al keeps getting smaller the longer he stays.
last season I said he should go to clippers for kamen and change with sending clippers a low pick for wolves not having to send clippers a future first.
kamen got better, jefferson got worse.
clippers would not think of this now.

could maybe work somehting out with golden st.
take some of their bagage and this seasons high pick for jefferson and flynn.

It surely would be great to have Darko stay here and contribute. I think the need for a 'guarantee' of starting is probably just a ploy for negotiating, if it is even accurate. I know from what he has said and how he has acted, the money is secondary and he "just wants to play; just wants to contribute".

How he is played and how he is included on both sides of the ball, will make the difference as to whether he will stay.

Reading the quotes from Rambo is like reading a Comic Book. Halarious!! The guy lives up to his name and "Rambles" on and on every time you read what he says. He makes no sense whatsoever. Glen - you're keeping your living legacy alive by hiring totally incompetent people.:)

hopefully darko stays with eth wolves for the next couple of years, Rambis and Kahn need to open their eyes and see taht Al Jefferson is not the same player he was before he got hurt and taht he is teh blackhoel taht everything gets sucked into ie. passes taht never find their way out when he is double teamed. if teh wolves can find a buyer in teh offseason for him i say do it and mayb package Rubio along with him because i have accepted the fact that he will never play in a wolves uniform, i just cant figure out why Kahn can't or hasn't yet.
