need to fix the problem mchale made involving the clippers.

maybe trade picks 4 and 23 to clippers for number 8 and not having to give them a future first.
will really suck if nothing is done and wolves end up with the number 1 but have to give it to the clippers.
would be even worse if that number 1 turns into a labron, bird, jordan or magic type of player for the clippers.
oh, if you do not know why the wolves owe the clippers a first....
seems those in charge, way back when, wanted jaric so bad they gave cassel and a distant first.

Trade all of your #1 picks, and whomever else to move up to #2 and pick Evan Turner. He's perfect for triangle offense and with Rubio coming next year, the wolf will make their run for years to come.

Johnson may be the best choice of draftees left on the table when the T-Wolves pick comes around, but make no mistake, there are not more than two impact players in this draft. Sure Johnson or another player may be a good pick and eventually help, but the draft will NOT be the solution to the T-Wolves woeful ways. Trade and free-agency must also be managed correctly to turn around the franchise.

I think you have to admire what Kahn has done in the past year. He inherited a mess from McHale and has gone about fixing it. Gone are combo guard (and good at neither) Randy Foye, and G-F (and also good at neither) Mike Miller, in exchange for the pick that became Rubio. The pick that Denver used for Lawson became a higher pick this year. McHale's plan to use PF Jefferson and PF Love together seems ill-crafted in hindsight. I think Kahn trades one within the next week, perhaps in a package for the number 2, but more likely to one of teams drafting soon after us.

Johnson would help, but so would almost anyone mentioned in the lottery. The wolves need length inside and shooting outside as well as someone that can create their own shot, and create for others. Hopefully the wolves can parlay their picks and other assets into at least two, if not three, players who can help immediately.

Last year was supposed to be a one person draft (Blake Griffin - injured - no impact yet) but guys like Tyreke Evans (wish he would have dropped to the Wolves), Stephen Curry (should have been picked instead of Flynn), Brandon Jennings, and Darren Collison all were impact players in their first year.
They definitely still need to make some trades, though. If they can get any value for Jefferson, he should go. They can't afford to have both him and Love on the floor at the same time because neither plays defense.

Johnson's high shooting percentage would appear to be because he is a
leaper who can dunk.
Sad as it is, Gomes is the only player on this team with a proven NBA stroke.
If we draft a wing then he better be able to shoot lights out!
Kahn's job is to get Turner or Favors.
Kahn said before the draft that it is a 3 player draft.

take Johnson at 4 if turner doesn't fall, Whiteside at 16, james anderson 23, and pittman with first 2nd rounder. then s &T Big Al for R Gay. I mean we are the t pups so it would only be fitting if we had a GAY LOVE combo.... lol

Weren't the Wolves to be trading for Randolph. Havent heard anything about that for a while. Would be a great pick up, if he matures a little.
