This move reminds me of the time Kevin McHale ran the Timberwolves. He thought Mike James was the guy we had to have and that didn't pan out. He went and got that little guy Marcus Banks from Boston thinking that was the guy we had to have, and he only played half a season for the Wolves. He gushed over Ricky Davis and that was a disaster.

Now David Kahn is doing it, just slappin his willy over Ricky Rubio who isn't that good and doesn't want to play here, blushing over this nut Anthony Randolph who hasn't played at all this year, and talking himself into picking up Darko Milicic who is a nice guy off the bench, but he can't be your everyday NBA starter.

The problem here is the owner, Glen Taylor, who persistently hires guys that know less about basketball than he does. I bet Kevin Garnett keeps Taylor on his Christmas Gift Card list every day. He's on the verge of getting back to his third NBA Finals since being traded from Glen's goofy groupe.

Rubio and Flynn for Chris Paul would only work if Paul signed an extension, which he wouldn't do without first playing here and being convinced (and maybe not then). Like it or not, Rubio can't play in the NBA without coming through MN. And if he comes, we'll have his rights for about 4 years. That's still more important than a one year rental of Paul. I'd offer up anything except Love, Beasley, Rubio, Wes Johnson to get him though, including picks.

Too late.
The San Antonio Spurs
With Oklahoma City, the smallest market in the entire NBA.
Yes! I cannot help when I survey the players on successful NBA teams realize I haven't heard of many of them because they come from Europe and other leagues. It's obvious other teams have VASTLY superior scouts, as they seem to always find these good, talented "unknown" players and pair them with proven, winning vets. The Spurs are one such example. The 'Woes seem to rely on players' agents giving them the hard sell on their player and lapping it up. Have they ever left the country to scout talent??

Randolph is a great pick-up for youth and potential. He played great in Golden State, but Kahn is making him out to be a Chris Paul, DWilliams, Carmelo Anthony caliper player. Not even close. Twolves will be a 20-30 win team for the next 3 years at this rate.

Got your man...GOT YOUR MAN? You have got to be kidding me. If you had gotten your man it would have been CA rather then some lazy premadonna.
Got your man, I feel stupid even repeating you said it. You waited a year to get him, so glad you wern't looking for real talent.
Hey Kahn, has anyone ever called you an idiot?...well here goes...you are an Idiot!
I'll bet $1000 bucks you have not even watched 10 games this year. wait a second...you must have thought it was Zach Randolph you were getting...bummer....but who cares you got your man.
