Yeah, like they were going to beat the Lakers. That doesn't mean the big crowd at Target Center didn't get its money's worth Friday night.

a big man contributing for the Wolves, I'm very impressed with his game vs. the Minneapolis Lakers, who never should have moved. How stupid a team named the Lakers in California, it hsould be the Oceans or the starlets or butt bumpers in Kobe's case. Anyway, its been forever since we had a center who could do anything from huge draft misses in Felton Spencer, Luc Longley to all the rest. Great job Drako, keep pounding it inside.

Darko is the big man I've been waiting for. Granted Phill Jackson coached to stop love inside, and they were very effective, but with the players developing, someone will always have a hot hand to keep us in games.

I like Ranbus, but remember he is learning too.

Give us 12 and 8 consistently then we can say he's legit. An occasional great game combined with numerous average to subpar ones means he playing below expectations. Needless to say no one expects Darko to be an all star. He just needs be a defensive presence and a low post option.

Agree that this is just one game and he needs to do this on a consistent basis before I can call this a success, but I can now see how effective he can be when he's "on his game"

Back off Darko. The more you do, the more they ask you to do.

That's the way it goes where I work. The lazy guys get lazier,
and the guys that work get more piled on.

next thing you know, Rambis is going to ask for a 24-20-10-10
line. We won't suck any more, but you'll be tired.

Excellent piece, Tom. You had me rolling in the aisles. Very funny, and a well written article. Agree completely.
