Who ARE you people? What was Battier held to last night? 5 points?(STILL not good enough!) Scola had a pedestrian night for him with 20+ and some boards (their "best" player.)
Oh, but Kevin Love is the "problem." Kevin Love "doesn't play D."
Watch a game and maybe you'll see that he is our best player, without a doubt, and being mentioned in the same breath as Moses Malone is a COMPLIMENT if you didn't watch him play either. Good grief.

By the way, Garnett has never been a "lock down" defender. Never. He knows how to play D, but one on one, he rarely stopped anyone. He's great at help defense. Saying Love should be more like KG is overlooking the fact KG was never really all that great on D by himself. Only when his offensive role was lessened thanks to more help around him in Boston, did his defense elevate as he could expend more energy on it. Love can't do it all himself, so stop whining about his D.
Yeah because you don't need to play D when you're "6-10" and it's completely acceptable to get your shots stuffed time and time again. Another Al Jefferson to me but in a different skin tone.

If we can find one more big man who concentrates on rebounding and defense, this team could be on the way to better things.

As I said before Ridnour and Beasley are cancer on this team. Trade 'em, sell 'em, send 'em packing, fishing whatever. We are better team without them. Darko we play much better with Darko. Darko has a solid season, incosistent but we need a big body. Whoever watches the game can see the little thing Darko is doing, setting screens changing shots and covering for KLove lack of defense. Darko is a stud on our team we just need to use him little bit more. Andre Miller or Chauncey Billups or Steve Nash would make Darko all star center. Unfortunately our first shoot than pass guards are horrible. Beasley is not worth anything, he needs to go. He doesnt care,he looks like he is stoned all the time. He loses the game than he goes laughing, hugging with opposing team player (Vince Carter remember). Trade him, get Shane Battier for him to defend for KLove and we will be fine.

Good point. Love is undersized for a PF, yet still gets the production he does.
Most successful teams have point guards who draw defense with penetration and then dish. Well, time and again, our point guards cannot stick with their man, and help "D" kicks in at that point. Using your logic, we are supposed to allow the smallest player of the opposition to drive the lane and score unguarded? There is always a man open in those situations. If Love has to leave his man, that's not all on him. But, that would take a basic understanding of the game to realize.

I've never understood these millionaires congratulating each other after a loss either.

Darko's been "Mr. Glass" this season and last. Always injured. We are seeing why despite his talents he's been an also-ran in the league.
Beasley would be the first to benefit from effective point guards. Has you seen Flynn operate? Not only can he not drive the hoop (too small to finish) but he cannot even get the ball into the post effectively, nor can Ridnour. Beasley is being used incorrectly in this offensive "scheme" of Rambis'. Beasley does not have the handles to create off the floor out at the 3 point arc. He's a big body with leaping ability. Drive and dish by a competent point guard would have Beasley finishing at the rim a lot. His ankle is WRECKED too. WHY they keep sending him out there to re-injure it night after night during such a horrible win/loss season defies logic. Heal him up. His game is reduced to jump shots right now due to the ankle and the Wolves trainers not having a LICK of common sense.(And the Wolves have been one of the scrawniest looking teams in the league for YEARS!) Do they train? Where are their trainers? Everything is second rate about this organization it seems.
