Good to hear. I've been high on Shawne since he was at Memphis. He is still young and has a lot of potential. Hopefully under O'Brien he was flourish.

I've been high on........oh, nevermind.

Pacers are a lottery team, even in the East, which is pathetic because the Pistons are getting ready for decline and the only other decent teams are the Cavs and Bulls.

It's gonna be another looooong, empty season inside Conseco this year. Strap up!

GO COLTS!

Well said. I can see you didn't waste any time in English classes. No wonder you know so much about basketball.

You're right though, it's much better to have an entire team of swingmen and power forwards than it is to have a well balanced team. Why on earth would the Pacers want a decent PG, SG, or Center when they have Baston, Diogu, Murphy, Daniels, Dunleavy, Granger, JO, and Rawle Marshall, Shawne Williams that all essentially play TWO positions... the 3 and 4. Genius.

In spite of all the problems with the Pacers, Shawne, Danny, and Ike are not part of the problem. Us fans should support these young guys.

BTW, I did see Shawne play in person at the end of the season. There were flashes there, his shot is so natural, where as Danny seems to struggle at times. I can see why Bird picked this guy.

Tinsley is good, Muprhy sucks... And I dont care what you say.. The pacers have a good enough roster to compete in the east. If anyone needs to be traded its Dunleavey and Murphy.. so other then that.. Shawne Williams can play SG.. he did in memphis and I bet you he will with the pacers

Obviously young with potential but totally unproven & virtually unknown. Every team has several just like him and the Grangers of the world. Boggles the mind how the Pacers ended up pinning their hopes to a handful of young inexperienced players. Totally ridiculous.

This fan base needs to calm down a little. Williams will be excellent for the Pacers. I like what O'Brien is doing and it will definitely pay off for Williams and Granger.

Point guard defense still needs to be addressed.

OK although, he may be BETTER THEN THAT GUY SACRAMENTO DRAFTED FROM UCON, He is still a forward and the other guy is a POINT GUARD. We currently have wwwwaaaaaaayyyyy too many forwards and not enough guards. Although Shawne Williams may be a better athlete then that guy from UCON, the guy from UCON still would have been better for the team because he plays a position of greater need to the team. I'll give you a perfect example of someone who fitts the team well but isn't that good-Kareem Rush. He should do a hell of allot more for the team then Shawne Williams, Big Al Harrington or any of thoes Goldenstate screwups. Because of the way he plays.

I hope that Tinsley is taking notes on what Williams is doing. Unfortunately it's supposed to be the veterans teaching the young guys how to be hard workers.

Shawne Williams was listed as A SMALL FORWARD just like Danny Granger, I don't think he would be much better at playing shooting guard then Danny. So I'll have to see it to believe it. Secondly anyone who thinks Tinsley is good has to be high on crack. You and Tinsley been Smokin together a bit at Club Rio? And for the record you are defenitly right about DUMBleavy, he needs to leavy off the team because he is too slow and can't shoot outside well enough to play Shooting guard. And what a concidence Shawne Williams seems to be the same way.

Ditto Molly.

O'Brien can flat out coach. Tinsley will love playing for him and the Pacers will finally be fun to watch again.

Having all players face up makes me think that O'brien is taking his cues from the "Quick" as developed by Isaiah.

I can see Granger and Williams on the floor together.. they both move very well and have shown promise. And with Tinsley running the floor with his vision the pacers will be fun to watch agian.. Just wait and see

Tinsley,Wiillams,Granger,O'nea l'Ike Diogu

Thats a starting 5 that can run the floor and COMPETE.

Anyone wana argu with my FAB 5?

Too Many forwars, ya need a few guards in there bub. And for the record look for Rush to make the most impact on the Pacers up and comming season next to JO (If he stays), Granger, and mabey Foster.
