I agree. But as long as Rick is in the mood to experiment, why not give Marquis Daniels a shot at starting point guard? I'm willing to bet Granger will be back in the starting line up after the All-Star break.

I just want to say that everything regarding the off-court issues with fans and arrests is twofold. If you really like the Indiana Pacers, you cannot abandon them now. You would be a fair-weather fan. Love em when they win hate em when they lose. I get frustrated and mad at them, but they are the only team i can TRULY ROOT for. I respect teams like the Mavs, Heat, and Suns but the Pacers are my team and you have to stick with your team win AND lose.

I agree you have to support this team since for the most part the major trouble players are gone. I think Tinsley makes bad decisions sometime too but this time I don't think he was guilty of anything more of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the East anything can happen and with Detroit and Miami being really the serious contender in the East. Miami may be down but can't count out D Wade & Shaq. Too early to see if Toronto can maintain this pace and it seems Cleveland was all talk. This team does seem to have better chemistry then it has in a long time, who knows what can happen.

If the Pacers want to get more fans in the stands they need to stop having Bird repeat the same PR statement and have Tinsley and Daniels want to go out their way to win back fans by doing more charitable activities and maybe coming out before games to interact with fans with free stuff... well legal stuff.

Gratz on another win Pacers. Still am not a fan of the Pacers or of the NBA in general (Post Jordan Days), but you guys seem to be doing the right things.

Keep the wins coming!

I imagine that Williams started just because he is from Memphis. He went to High school and college here. Starting him against his hometown team is just Carlile throwing him a bone.

So John thinks Tinsley was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Give me a break. Strip club at 2:30 in the morning??? Hanging with Mr. Jackson who carries a gun, and his cousin whom took the wrap for his weed??? He's in another bar after they got their butts handed to them hours earlier making sure people know who he is swinging away.( i know, jury still out) Yes, your right, wrong place at the wrong time. Give me a break, he's a thug and we shouldn't have to put up with it.

For JKL and John Herrick: If you have been reading the posts for the last few years you might understand a couple of things: 1. Pacers have the best fans who do root for the TEAM and ORGANIZATION. Which does not mean that we have to put up with "players" being charged on a monthly basis just because they wear the uniform. 2. Are you aware that our beloved Pacers are called the "Jailblazers East?" That is unacceptable in a city that has pride in the image of being a "small market" big town sports mecca- the NCAA bball hall of fame is just down the street from the fieldhouse. Drive north a couple hours and you will see the same for football. We carry these things with pride and it is NEVER acceptable when individuals compromise what a community builds together. That goes for sports, schools, relationships, governments etc... I am a proud native Hoosier, and I am always complimented for my treatment of others because of my roots. It is a privlage not a right.

With all the whining that has been going on with this team, the Pacers are in the fifth spot in the East and are in contention for any of the spots above them with plenty of basketball to play. Yeah, March is going to bring a really tough schedule, but this team is far from done. Football is over with, Indy. This team really needs your support!

Memphis was scoring at will.
This team will go nowhere unless they pick it up at the defensive end.

Hopefully, they can get the 5 seed and get knocked out in the first round of the playoffs again like they always do. I love sitting with the 18th pick in the draft after all of the game changers have been taken by the bad teams. This team is in the same position every year. Not good enough to win anything and not bad enough to draft in the lottery. We could put up with it, but outside of Granger and JO, there's no one to root for on this team. People work too hard to waste money on a bland, unwatchable team that is hamstrug by bad signings, bad decisions, bad coaching, and bad contracts. Bird, Walsh, and Carlisle need to go. This town needs a fresh start with this team to regain interest. Until then, we'll choose where to spend our money and even though football season is over, I'll get much more pleasure out of a $20 Colts shirt than an $18 ticket to watch the Pacers. Changes need to happen and they need to start cleaning house from the top down. We may be stuck with some of these players, but the three stooges need to go.

Man...I sure wish the Golden State and Seattle games would have been W's.

With all the crap and the trade and the new players, the Pacers are still only 2.5 games behind Cleveland for second seed in the East and 4.5 games behind Detroit for number one seed.
