Jim O'Brien's version of the "three-second rule" has nothing to do with standing in the lane too long, and everything to do with speeding the tempo.

I think O'brien will be a great coach! But maybe more important is Dick Harter coming back for defense!!!
Problem with your logic

the problem is with Murph-Leavy. Those two couldn;t hang with the Warriors run and gun style. The system will not work as long as they remain with the team.

That's great and all, but first, establish some ground rules for this team!! I don't care if we win 60 games a season under O'Brien's leadership... If our players are still out of control off the court, I guarantee you're still going to see 9,000 fans per home game.
The bottom line is, most fans wanted the rebuilding, not because we don't mind winning 20 games each of the next 2 years, but because we're sick and tired of many (not all) of the current players.
Name the players you are talking about!!...

I don't know about you but I am not interested in what your kind of team. I am headed back to Indy and I will take your seats. Maybe the Indianapolis community needs to take a good hard look at where they are going also. These players should be able to go where they want to go without being harassed. You might want choir boys like the two we got from G.S. but the fact is with these kinds of players we are going nowhere fast!
