Granger and JO are the good guys on this team. They're the only guys this team has left that you can root for. The all-star game will be the first time this season that our team has been represented the way it should be. Too bad that they have to come back home to a mediocre team with bad coaches, bad management, and bad contracts. I know we can't clean house. We're stuck with most of these guys until 2011. Bird, Walsh, and Carlisle need to go. Trade anyone you can for anything you can get. Keep JO and Tinsley, get lottery picks, and fire the management of this team. We need a fresh start.

You have to be crazy....
Trade anyone but O'Neal and Tinsley???? Keep Tinsley? If anyone goes he should be the first one.
Actually I would give this team a chance to play together for some more games before I make a judgement. The last couple of games have been positive ones.
I say let them have until summer and then break it up if the results are not good enough. And by good enough I would say at least second round of playoffs(barring injuries to key players).
Go Pacers!!!!

yeah the last couple have been positive then the next few will be letdowns and then they will be back up for a few. The pacers are too damn inconsistent and they need to get rid of carlisle.

All Star Break Assessment:

Positives: 4 games above .500. Danny Granger has shown signs that he can be a special player. All the players we got from GS appear to be upstanding citizens. Diogu could end up being pretty darn good. We're in the (L)eastern conference. DA has been a nice surprise and good locker room guy, his ejection and one game suspension notwithstanding. JO and DG making it to Vegas. Everyone staying healthy for the most part. NO MORE STEVIE J!!!

Negatives: As JO said, could be 10 games above .500. How about Club Rio and the 8 Second Saloon. Blowing too many winnable games. Not one clutch player on the whole team. Vast majority of Indy either hates this team or doesn't care. Tinsley's contract runs through 2011. Luke Ridnour's game winning tear drop in Seattle turned into an NBA commercial.(It's actually a pretty sweet commercial I think.)

Jury's still out: Shawne Williams still a couple years away from contributing. Do the Pacers have any chance to win the East? Can they even win a playoff series? Is Carlisle the right coach for this team?

The second half of the season should be interesting to watch.
