"I don't understand how they have a right to look into our lives on any level besides performance-enhancing drugs.
"It's not a rule made by government and it's not a rule made by God; it's made by an organization (the NBA). I guess they feel it will benefit that organization."

Uh, hello dope-smokin' millionaire crappy basketball player...it's a rule made by federal law. Marijuana is still illegal last time I checked. Just because you've got money, you think you should be able to do what you want? I see you've been schooled by Tinsley. Loser. You're outta here at the end of the season, so you better save your money now for your weed later, when you're out of the NBA.

Harrison continues to show his ignorance and selfishness. Dump this over paid underachieving dope head now.
California would be a good place for him since they keep trying to make marijuana legal. He could even be their spokesperson.

David, you sure make Larry B look smart with comments like these. Oh, wait, maybe Larry feels the same way? Maybe David is really Larry's mouth piece? Maybe Tinsley also? maybe we just found the real problem with the team??? I hope the NBA fines David for these comments, not that he should not be able to say what he wants, but that he is coming out of the closet with this junk and is so DUMB!! He gets DUMB fowls, now DUMB Fines

I'll speak to you in basketball terms. YOU OUTRIGHT SUCK. You look lost on the court and still pick up countless stupid fouls. The NBA did the Pacers a favor for sitting you for 5 games.

Mr. Harrison, soon (hopefully) you will be free of the NBA and you can smoke it all you want to. Hell, I'll even send you some Cheech and Chong videos...I recommend "Up in Smoke," kind of like your career.

If Harrison doesn't like the rules, he doesn't HAVE to play in the NBA. Oh, wait, he DOESN'T play in the NBA, he just sits on his ass and collects a check.

The reason the NBA has rules like that is to keep selfish morons such as yourself from ruining the reputation of a valuable franchise. And it's obvious in the case of the Pacers, that thinking has failed miserably. Count Harrison as one of those who MUST go (along with Tinsley and Daniels) before I start spending money on Pacer basketball again.

The NBA is skating on thin ice if they really intend to give this drug testing thing more than lip service. A second basketball league could easily be formed that could treat their players like human beings. Then all the best players would jump to the new league. Remember the ABA? They could successfully challenge the NBA because the NBA had banned a lot of the best players. Roger Brown, Connie Hawkins, Doug Moe....

Let's get the old gang to together for a little 5 on 5 ... I'd be curious to see how Smits, the Davis brothers, McKey, Miller, and Mark Jackson would do against these guys. I'll tell you how it would be, Jackson would penetrate, kick it out to Miller for 3, Dunleavey would launch a 35 foot airball, rebounded by A. or D. Davis, kicked up the court by Miller, pump fake a 2, pass to Smits and with that pretty jumper of his another 2, then McKey would just put the lockdown on Granger (although I think Granger could hold his own) and the old gang would just go about their business of methodically tearing up these guys. Ahh, the glory days! Can I get amen...

Is moron Harrison so insulated from reality that he doesn't realize the rest of us have to live with random drug testing in the workplace?

Why do people keep spending money on these clowns? The NBA has completely lost touch with its former fan base. They seem very content to play to the hip hop, law breaking, sagging pants "prison in my future" culture. Too bad the captain of the Titanic didn't have as much warning as the NBA has and continues to ignore.

Sorry plant-haters, but Harrison is right. Why should the NBA care what he does in his free time? Test all you want for performance enhancing drugs, but leave street drugs out of it. It's not like the guy was hittin' the crack pipe during practice. This is probably something he does in the privacy of his own home. Plus, marijuana has natural healing powers, so it likely helps him rest his aching body. Ah yes, marijuana...why should glaucoma patients have all the fun?

This is an absurd comparison. Harrison should "heal" his body by training properly, not drinking, eating only the best foods and doing everything humanly possible to be a better basketball player. That's what he is being paid for. He is supposed to be a professional. For someone in his position, aspiring to reach his potential, there is no room for dope, weed or whatever you want to call it. Anything that detracts from this single purpose should be eliminated. Perhaps no one is telling the Pacers players that. The pattern is all too familiar and the team's record and continuing decline reflects that.

Hey, Harrison! Why don't we just get the cops to bust you and throw you in jail for the next couple of months? Then, we won't have to worry about any more five day suspensions. Oh, I forgot Jamaal probably has already told you to have a "fall guy" with you at all times to quickly claim "Hey, that's my Weed officer!" Have a nice life when you leave INDY which will be soon, but not soon enough. LOSER!!

I cannot believe the Indiana Pacers front office is tolerating Harrison's comments of stupidity and behavior. If he has failed the test 3 times, why is he even still in the NBA? We know his supplier is Tinsley. Before I become a Pacer fan again, the front office needs to take a DEEP look at the whole 3 years of frustration.....Tinsley, Daniels, Harrison and O'neal all need to go. Pacers need a fresh start without the above mentioned THUGZ!! Until then nobody cares!!!!!!

The fact that Harrison doesn't believe the NBA should be able to monitor his continued ingestion of drugs speaks volumes about why I refuse to attend NBA games anymore and why the Pacers are only representative of the inner city mayhem the players supposedly escaped from.
