We're looking for good people with high character. So lets sign the guy cut from a bad team for poor work ethic. Makes sense to me.

Rush is a good signing. I wanted Indiana to draft him in 02 instead of Fred Jones. Watch some video of the guy and you'll see he has a smooth stroke with a quick release. He's low risk, and he'll be cheap this season-750,000 give or take. I'm clueless about the other signings. They are summer league fillers.

Rush has good character? And what type of defense are we planning on playing next year? No defense?

I hope David Logan makes the team. The guy can out shoot anybody currently on the Pacer's roster.

A U of I grad on the team would be too cool.

Why are the Pacers still dragging Harrison around with them?

He played one year for I.U. before transfering to Houston. Do some research next time. Also, D.J. White and Eric Gordon will be upper first round selections next year.

what are you smoking? this might have a sliver of truth if the guy could actually play ball without fouling or getting "T"d up every other possession. foster bangs the boards and plays with much more heart than harrison. no comparison who is more valuable on the roster

I've seen nothing to suggest Rush has a bad attitude off the court, which is really what they're driving home. Besides, put yourself in his shoes... gets drafted in '02 as a first round pick with a guaranteed contract. Goes to the Lakers and plays a bit role in winning a championship, then gets traded to the Bobcats who were awful at the time. Yeah he should've worked hard but I can see where he could've gotten lazy and slacked off. And he paid the price by getting cut. Since then he's played really well in Europe and seems enthused about coming back... and he knows this time he's got a minimum contract that he'll have to work hard to keep. He's worth the risk, especially for the low money.

Well, technically Gordon won't by an IU "graduate" :)
