Good points sparkplug ... however, my point about JO going somewhere else, isn't about his flat-out numbers, or his ability to contribute. It's about him fitting this new style ... what happens to our team and style of play when he's on the floor? Someone can have game, but be a better fit with another group of players, right?
Maybe O'Brien can make it all work.
<quoted text>
Can he fit in this system? Is he athletic enough to run the floor? Is he unselfish enough to play second or third option if that's the best fit for what opposing defenses give us? Can he complement this team under Coach O'Brien's system? Will the team continue to win when he comes back?

Alot of people want answers, and some think they've already got it figured out. Me personally I don't know what will happen but I hope for the best as any Pacer fan would.

I don't know whether he has the will to fill a new role which is different than what was expected of him in CRC's system. I don't know if he's burnt out and needs a new start somewhere else.

I just wish more people would look at the whole picture instead of going by recency alone.

JO's been frustrated for a few seasons now. He was frustrated with the brawl and all the court proceedings, and how it drug his name through the mud. I felt he defended his teammates and got punched in the sack for it throughout the media.

He was frustrated by Artest's lack of loyalty after he stuck with him through the circus. He like many fans was probably frustrated with Jackson. Then I think he was frustrated with CRC but really didn't know how to deal with it because he knew CRC was Bird's guy.

Then there was an understandable frustration for all the knee, groin, and shoulder injuries he sustained by trying to do too much for the team, followed by criticisms by writers and all the experts like you and I.

I'm confident he can do it! He's done alot for this franchise since Miller's departure and alot has blown up in his face. I hope he can let the past go, and look at this 2007-2008 Pacer team as his niche, and his team to win it all!

It can't be easy, but then if it was easy .....

Why can't anyone on this site spell? People will make a valid point, and then say things like "consentrate"

on't know about others but I just type too fast then I don't proofread well. Its not exactly the end of the world as long as you can tell what the person meant. Typo's are one thing. What amazes me is the poor grammar. I make some grammar errors but I wonder what some folks were doing during English class. It's a societal problem.

Once again I predicted what would happen. Pacers LOSE AGAIN WHEN JO returns. It is a must they let him go. They are 5-1 w/o him in the lineup.
