Thanks for delivering another crushing defeat on the worthless New York Knicks. Feel free to dump on them at any opportunity. See you at the next game (St. Patrick's Day, March 17). Beat the Knicks again....and again, and again.

Who cares? Both teams are terrible. It is amazing the two worst teams in basketball are linked to Larry Bird. How does Thomas still have a job with the Knicks? He must have something good on the owners.

Incredible that people actually PAY to see these Losers.

At the prices charged at the HOME games for beer, coke, and other asundries to eat, not counting the over-priced shirts, pictures of the (team-players?) It just seems incredualous anyone would arrive (bill-fold in hand) to participate,(or should I say acknowlege their existance as a team ?) and spend BIG BUCK'S to watch a so called exhibition of UN-Professionalism in these so called PRO's who only half heartedly play for a win. The only winners are the Management, Owner's, who are allowed to put on such drivial entertainment? And then pay out HUGE Salaries to these so called Pro-PLAYER's for WHAT?

Pacers are not worthy of your Hard Earned Cash to fork out on an unsuspecting fan-base.

Semper Fi!(carry on Citizens!)

It's the way they think around here,[if we make the play off we have a chance] thats crap they're cheap, and look for bargins and just hope they pan out.just look at New England, they spent some bucks for people that would work. then people will come.

Seriously, who would want either one of them? JO could help round out a good team, but he wants to be paid and treated like he is the franchise, and there is simply no team where that is going to happen. It's sad in a way, because JO is a talented player, but he simply is not the player who can carry a team, as proven here!

Since no one cares that reads (I think) the Star articles on the Pacers I'm looking for a message board for Pacer fans that do care. Anyone know of one? Hey Sparkplug, USF, Mike from Cordry Lake or Adam, do you guys know of a Pacers board worth while?

This explains it all:
http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/indiana.htm

50% of the teams payroll is spent on 2 guys who don't start. Everyone wants to trade J.O. but the reality is no-one is going to take him with 22mil & 23mil left over the next 2 years.

Honestly - just look at the numbers - there is no quick fix. Either J.O. gets healthy and productive (unlikely) or we are riding into 2010-2011 to rebuild.

That said - Im still a fan and will go to games. There are some real talents on the court worth going to watch (Granger, Rush, sometimes Dunleavy).

There are some good guys out there - they just lack support because all the money is tied up on the bench and not on the floor helping.

Woo Hoo! We're big losers!, we're big losers!

What a complete waste of money on this crummy team. We might as well use all the money on the Pacers to fix the sewer system. Better yet, lets make the team fix the sewers for us. At least they would be earning 1/1,000th of their salaries

The time will come and the Pacers will be back in form. By staying at this level we will be some good first round draft picks - win more games and we get less. We do need to make some changes but it will be a slow process.

And the tickets are still expensive to go watch a game. Selling me 2 seats for the price of 1 would certainly bring in more money than those seats remaining empty. I was hoping to cash in on the times with some hopefully cheaper/reduced season tickets or something!!

While the Pacers currently do suck as players and role models, the tide will change at some point...but like EWB said, it will be a slow process.

i watched the game last night, yes I am the one..and I couldnt help but notice that Murphy cannot play Defense...either he dosent want to or he just cant maybe he dosent understand it but either way like Obrien has said if one guy dosent rotate or does what he is suppose to then the D. collapses and Murphy is the worst defender on the team. Keep Dunleavy for his heart and effort and his smarts...he should be the Captain, keep Granger, Foster, Rush, and Williams but everyone else should be expendable and they should rebuild

Please dont use New England for examples...they should never be used for what a professional team should do maybe if you use them for an example of what not to do

It's funny how people are saying the Pacers suck, just because they are having a bad season. If you are a true fan, you know there are good years and bad years with any team. Once upon a time the Colts were not the powerhouse they are now, but they got there because of sound management and coaching. Get rid of your Good Ol' Boy Larry and we can do some things. While he is a Hall of Famer as a player, that didn't translate well into general managing. Also, the only people that can say a professional athlete sucks, are those that have had professional contracts in the same sport and competed on that level. Until then, shut up, grin and bear it or go somewhere else and be a fair-weather fan....
