So the lakers beat a really good Jazz team in 6, the champs in 5, the celtics had to fight through the mighty hawks in 7, the cavs in 7, and they took care of business against the pistons but you can argue they were pretty banged up, so not too impressive for the celtics but whatever its this series that counts now, but just wanted to point out if thats your reasoning for the lakers to watch out thats pretty weak.

Yeah a great Pistons team, that was the first team to lose their home court in the first playoff round to Philly in game one of their series.

What You thought Boston was the first team to be them at home?

The only two the teams that didn't lose a game at home are Hawks and the Lakers.

But unlike the Hawks the Lakers know what it takes to win on the road.

I do think Boston is good enough of a team to beat the Lakers in Los Angeles, but so were the Spurs and the LAKERS have more than enough to beat the Celtcs in Boston.
So, watch out!, Boston right back at You.

Keep this in mind at this moment the Lakers are playing better D & better offense then Boston.

Pls do not confuse the Piston's inability to score with Lakers.

Good post bro. Defense wins championships and we can play defense. Also I think our offense is better and I hope that Gasol can go to the hole strong on KG because KG will use a lot of energy on offense and defense and he may get in foul trouble. Kobe will have a great series and who the heell is Posey? Posey is no where near a great defender like Bowen. Kobe wil be getting inthe lane all sereis unless they start double teaming him, then that will open up the three point shooting. One more thing, Rondo is a hoe and Fisher will handle him easliy. Go Lakers!!!!!!!

Hope to win a 17th championship. Go Celtics! So psyched for the Finals right now. It is going to be unbelievable. Just as Jim said, who wants it more will be key. LA is the Best of the West, and the Celtics are the Beast of the East. Just how it should be, the best rivalry in NBA basketball.

Celtics-Lakers, yah i might say it would be the number 1 or 2 rivalry all time, along with Red Sox and Yankees. Still, Oh man... just can't wait, Jesus wish they could make the wait longer, all the hype is getting to me.

haha I know, I guess this is sterns way of promoting the sport, hes gonna make the real fans wait, and convince casual and non laker or celtic fans to watch, stern has been waiting for this to help the nba boost its ratings and now hes got a chance here to scrape as many viewers as possible.
