"The Heat doesn't turn around every veteran. Antoine Walker was hopeless"

Hopeless? Yeah. Bash someone who was the 2nd leading scorer in the '06 Finals and played key role in helping the Heat win it all. Real smart.

I mean...if THAT'S what hopeless is, then what does that make O'neal(jermaine)? Much worse, I gather....
Face fact, for a change : The Heat would NEVER have won a title without TOINE'S Contributions. END OF STORY.

And further more, how stupid was it for Toine to be traded based on him not being in good-enough shape(even though he's been in basketball shape since he arrived in Miami back then) according to the Modern-Day Napoleon(Pat Riley).

I bet Spoelstra doesn't have any "body-fat" requirements.....

Hyde, you're an idiot. Walker was not "hopeless" he was a key component to the 2006 championship you fool. As for O'Neal, I hope he fits in with the Heat because after last night it seemed like it will be a long season until the playoffs with him. I could be wrong but I knew this trade was going to be stupid somewhere in the long run.

Antoine Walker had his career in Boston. He didn't need Miami and the fact that you seem to think Miami turns players around is a joke.

No respect for Antoine after what he did for this team is pathetic. I guess you forget Wade and Shaq on the bench against NJ when ANTOINE saved the games. Same with series against Chicago.

What did Walker do in Boston?? Im sure Walker didnt want to stay with the Celtics that much longer before KG and Ray Allen came. Walker had HIS career in Miami and helped us win a championship you numb nuts.

Antoine is a Celtic for life. When all is said and done he will be remembered as a celtic not a heat.

Walker was the real reason Boston made the ECF in 02 and the team sucked without him after he left before KG came to town.

Actually Antoine wanted to stay in Boston. He is friends with KG in fact KG called him and asked him about Boston and Walker told him to to go there
