I hope spoelstra has enough sense next season to groom beasly as a starter through out the season next year so he does not have to play so timie through out the playoffs.

sure we may have loss to atlanta 98-71 in gave seven, but dwayne wade and udonis haslem still has what joe johnson, josh smith, and mike bibby wants, that championship.i'm pretty sure spolestra has future references for the miami heat as well as dwayne wade. so i wish the heat well in the future and good luck to atlanta.

Why? Its not his fault he has a bunch of rookies and no impact vets to help Wade.

wade needs to get his teamates involved. I can see why some of the players didn't show up for the game.

Haslem has not class. That's not a way to end the season. He was beat, but no reason to clothesline an opponent.

Lebron and the cavs would have DESTROYED wade and the heat anyways. atlanta will probably put up a better fight since they play more team ball.

Nobody should be upset about losing. This team had a good season and should feel proud with what they did this year. The sad part is that the Miami fans are not realistic and they expected this rookie team to win the title. This team is rebuilding and it will take a couple of years before they can really make a serious run to a championship. The problem in South Florida are these fans that they are not realistic and if they don't win then we have to get rid of everybody. Now, can we add Miami as another team in the list with L.A. of teams that have not won a title after Shaq left the team? Now we see how important Shaq was to the team. The same goes for the unrealistic Dolphins fans. I am sure because of last years success they are thinking Super Bowl this year. What a joke are the South Florida fans.I am a Heat fan and I am proud of this rookie team and our coach. Great season!!!

im still confused as to why Wade was pulled from the game with 5 minutes to go??? it seems the heat didnt leave it all on the court and they gave up. i mean seriously, its the last game of the season, wade shouldve been in there till the end of the game trying to make things happen. if you make big-time plays in big-time games, then you're a big-time player and unfortunately wade didnt show up. he has his amazing games at home, but what about on the road? against hostile fans? thats what a superstar is, to give it ure all, hit big time shots, all while you're getting booed from the opposing team's fans and wade didnt. he's not an elite yet.

You are a moron. There are no easy free baskets in the playoffs. The foul wasn't even that bad.

You've got to be kidding me. We beat the Cavs once but in two other games we played, we had double digit leads in the fourth quarter. We realistically should have finished 3-1 against the Cavs in the regular season. I'm not saying we would have beaten the Cavs, but you can at least give the Heat credit for what they did in the season instead of just talking out of your ass.

We probably wouldn't have beat the Cavs but we would have done just as good if not better then Atlanta against them.

Just watch. Riley will trade Beasley for a 29 or 30 year old overpriced free agent who may or may not help instead of teaching Michael and seeing what he can do. This is why this franchise will never be like the Spurs. They do not really cultivate young talent and think of the next 5-6 years down the road. Doesn't matter if they feel Wade's best years are being wasted. He could blow out his knee and never be the same player. So why mortgage everything for something that may or may not work out? You have young talent and you'll have cap space in 2010. This is a place many free agents want to play in. Try that approach. They may be surprised to see that they can have sustained excellence.

I disagree, Atlanta has a more balanced team. They will put up a better fight against the Cavs.

Anyways, Wade's ego would not allow Lebron to show him up, so he would probably get mysteries back spasms and mail it in.

per our trades, we are just ;contending for the playoffs' until AFTER NEXT SEASON.

this is the vision and we cant stray from it.

this year was good considering we have 2 rooks & 2 2nd year players.

this is a team to be reckon with in 2-3 years

dont forget the words of shaq when we lost to detroit in the conference finals......
'you have to learn how to lose before you can win'
we won the ring the next season

things are looking VERY PROMISING.
dont make ANY moves this offseason and go into 2010 with all the cap room you need to sign 2 players

my only gripe is start beasley at small forward. he is NOT a power forward

No need to panic.

Beasley needs to lock himself up in a weighroom during the first half of the summer and spend the second half developping his low post game both on defense and offense.

Chalmers just needs minor improvements accross the board.

Cook just needs to keep improving.

We need a center and O'neal may not be it at his price tag... especially with his health concerns
