I think the Wolves had nothing to lose with this deal. Brewer is only a role player on a good team. Anthony has the ability to be a decent starter and maybe more. If you watch video of him, you see why the Wolves were intrigued. He's had the chance to make some mistakes as a young player and hasn't disappointed in that regard. Hopefully he's grown up a little bit and has been humbled a lot by being put on the end of the Knicks bench and traded again. I think he needs to see the floor to get some experience and confidence. It did some good for Beasley to get more PT. Looking forward to watching him play. I'm not too worried about the Wolves winning. I'd rather see them draft high again this year before they start to win.

'I'm not too worried about the Wolves winning.' That, in one short and sweet statement, sums up the mentality of the 'fan' base here in loserville. I'm not making this up, you wrote it, not me. Wow.

now that is one funny statement. They have been losing and drafting high for 20 years now and look at how well it has paid off thus far......one sorry franchise to be sure, sort of like an NBA farm team......

Need more white guys on the team. Yah, that's the ticket.

Hey Glen, since your team is stinking it up any way, and you have nothing more to lose since you always lose anyway, here's an idea. Fire Clueless Kirk,, and let Bill Laimbeer take a shot at head coach. He knows how to win, he's tough, and he has coached successfully! Why not? Go for it Glen!!
Common...you can do it - it's YOUR team! ;-)

I agree Danny boy! My daughter's JV BB team could give them all they want! One thing for sure-they have better Coaching by far, and that is no joke!! They run disciplined set plays, play good defense, and know how to score, how to finish, and....HOW TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!

New haircut? Thats the best you can do Tom?
Funny you mentioned "sideshow", thats how this team plays.
Better call your buddy Richardson, mix a batch of kool-aid and sit down and write another pathetic article on this embarrassment of an organization.
If someone lets a fart on this team, you scramble to your desk and come up with a story about how now the team is turning itself around.

here's my take. They helped move Mello out to the eastern conference. With Utah rebuilding as well the teams in the western conference are getting either very young or very old with a few exceptions. We are way to young as a team. They have to make good moves. I remember Musselman didn't like to play the young guys. There was a good reason for that. They sucked. They need some vetrans on the team. This formula doesn't work. Remember Gerald Glass. We have a bunch of him on the roster. We need a Sam Mitchell or two. Darko better start playing harder and tougher and get his confidence back. Wes better grow up and stop standing around. Somebody slap him in the back of the head! He should be a monster out there. They have to get a better effort out of their guys every night. Sorry this isn't good enough. Can you teach confidence? I think Laimbeer can...so he better get after it!

Anthony Randolph looks like a sleepy-eyed second coming of Ini Ibi.

The 'Woes are the "facilitators" of the league. We help make everyone else better. And for this we get:
"We need a $120 million renovation to our stadium! Whaaaahhh!!!! "
One word: boycott.
Another word: contraction.

I have been a 'Woes supporter from the get-go, but 20+ years of "building" is ridiculous. No more cast-offs. No more spelunking for "potential." No more "development." No more failed drafts. No more malcontents for players. Put up or shut up, Taylor. This joke has gone on long enough and failed to be funny long ago. Don't think anyone will miss ya if you leave, so save the "stadium or else" threats.'Woes fans might come down to help you pack the boxes at this point.

Point guards.
Experience.
Size.
Toughness.
Proven talent.

Get to it! Kahn is NOT the man to do this. Having the Knicks put him over their knee and tell him "this is the way it's gonna be." Really? Wow. There is NOTHING that would point to the fact that this team is moving in ANY direction, let alone the right direction.

C'mon, the Wolves aren't that far away. They're only a Center, Power Forward, Strong Forward, Point Guard, Shooting Guard, bench, GM, coach and decent owner away from being a halfway respectable team.

What a pathetic organization. If they left or the NBA pulled the plug on them, only about 5000 hardcore fans would care at all
