Corey Brewer and Isaiah Rider: now there are two names I hoped never to read in the same sentence. Just for a moment, remember Isaiah's greatest hits: turning in a paper at UNLV on which his name was misspelled; claiming frozen pipes in his house caused him to miss the team plane; being caught with a bag of stolen cell phones. Yes, folks, things could get worse. We could still be looking at Isaiah and Mr. Finger pointer, Christian Laettner. Instead we've got Corey with his goofy smile and his gumby-game -- a good kid who makes you root for him rather than covering your children's eyes when he shows up on the court (or in court).

Re: Love & playing time. Rambis already knows what you can do and
can't do. Maybe he needs to give some other guys playing time so he
can see what he has to do to improve the team. The only way to do that
is to give others playing time to see if they can cut it or not. Your place
is assured. The other guys? he has to see if they can 'bring' it on a
consistent basis.

Darko? No matter his past and low averages, he's going to help his 6'10"
frontline just by his presence. You think you get rebounds now? Wait 'til
he starts making guys change their shots, or gets a few critical blocks.
They won't be able to sag on Love and Jeff as much on offense, either, because they have a new big as an option. Love and Darko already showed signs of working well together on give n' goes. It looks like the ball
won't die in his hands, either; he dishes quickly. If he has marginal skills,
he has still improved this team. Yeah, just one game, I know. But he's
not even in shape.

As a personal friend of mine I hope that Darko makes it in NBA -as its time for him to grow up and step up to the plate
