i think tha new jersey is just saying they might draft johnson so that they can get another draft pick out of us so we swap picks with them to get who we want

This franchise will not be able to make a deal to move up. They will probabaly keep the 4th pick and select some player from Yugoslavia labeled as a project and expected to be selected early in the second round.

The big problem with a possible trade with Philly is that any deal would mean taking on E. Brands massive contract which I don't see the Wolves doing.

New Jersey is in perfect position to bluff Minny into a bad trade simply by saying they want Wes Johnson (even though they don't#.
Minny gives up assets to move from 4 to 3. THen NJ picks the guy they had planned on #Favors or Cousins) all along.

How does trading Jefferson and Brewer for Rudy Gay help Memphis's cap situation? So the deal's no good for Memphis.

And the numbers are nowhere close to a wash unless Rudy Gay gets signed by Memphis to a maximum contract...in which case Gay isn't worth the Timberwolves having.

Mr. Walters may have the makings of an NBA general manager. It takes a special mind to come up with trades that could cripple two franchises.

The smart move is to not blink, and see who is available. Then draft the best player, and if it's someone you don't want, work a trade for someone you do. PS- cousins is absolutely not a PF. He is a center only. We need a SG and SF. We'll get one or both when the dust settles. For sure. Just don't get all jumpy. Make those other teams take the guys they are claiming.

PPS- And stop trading away all of our good draft picks.

Why not take on a contract like Brand? It's not like there going to sign a free agent anyways.

Obviously, people DO give a rats arse. That's why they're commenting. Just becasue we're skeptical something good will happen doesn't mean we don't care...that said, Gay is not worth AJ AND Brewer.
Plus, as someone pointed out, that doesn't help the Griz cap. However, something like Brewer and the #16 pick could work. Jefferson is a more valuable piece than Rudy Gay straight up.
If we draft Favors, the Brewer and #16 could work. If we draft Wes Johnson we could still try that trade and play Johnson at SG. Or, we deal Jefferson or Love for a wing who can score.

Hey Henderson?

Would of been better to have picked the Goofers
and be able to play in a meaningless bowl game
before jumping to the NFL after one season.

Plus....you get the home field advantage if someday
you become a star like Larry Fitzgerald and Jack Brewer
the community will embrace you and hire you after
football is done.

Who gave you the dumb advice anyways? Oops sorry!

Loves seeing this happen to Seantrell Good Work.

Also - in football you have to be three years removed from high school to make the jump. My guess, the only thing we here about Seantrell is his summer hoops at salvation army.

He is the real problem here, apparently Mr. Kahn refutes every trade possible or the option of making a huge trade for Evan Turner. Why not risk the farm? Can we get any worse? Jefferson, Brewer, whoever else we have got have cleared out the target center faster than a bomb threat.

Do we miss Mchale yet? At least, he got us 1 good season and an opportunity for the playoffs.

Henderson, asked about his status with USC: "I don't want to talk about that."

TRANSLATION: No way in hell I'll be playing at USC.

Why are you talking to Seantrell, he's not making the decisions? What does Puff Daddy think?

Henderson has barely finished high school and the old man's already messed up his future. The guy's a real genius. It's gonna be lots of fun watching Daddy implode this kid's future. Feel bad for the kid though.

The pp should press for you to retire. There was no chance the twolves would move up to the top 2 draft picks. when was the last time that was even done? thats a pipe dream and shameful to even write about.

Thats like saying the vikings should have moved up to get sam bradford. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

I would love to see Henderson anywhere in the big ten Ohio State of course but the gophers as well I am sick of seeing the big ten talent go elswere to play.
