maybe mr. kahn should have done his homework on the ricky rubio situation. If he draft stefan curry instead of rubio we may selling games out. lets blame david kahn because drafting a guy from europe who isn't even eligible to get out of his european contract , unless he paid a ridiculous amount of money to opt out of his contract. he also gave up ty lawson for damn near zip. mchale is sounding better everyday.

Young, new, injured, learning a new system...whatever. The problem is guys simply not playing defense. There's no excuse for not playing defense. That's why we're getting kicked. How many layups and alley oops do we give up. Seriously, guard someone!

The management gets hot. This team is not. Soon we'll see another fruitless plot. The Wolves are in the pot.

Kahn needs to work on getting the replacement refs back!!! At least the call a fair game!
Work the phones with the league to get the officials to stop playing favorites. Seemed like to officiating wanted to make sure Dallas would win. Not calling an obvious delay of game on Norwitzki, Hollins shouldn't have had to take the ball away from him the officiating should have been all over that! Then not calling a blatant foul when Hollins went up for the dunk, and instead tossing out Hollins, come on. The only time I've seen decent officiating is when the subs where in, if they saw a foul they called a foul!

Yes, I agree with everything you said. Kahn made a gig blunder on this. Hopefully we may chalk it up as a stumble coming out of the gate. Right now the best player on the Wolves roster may not even make it as a starter on the upper echelon teams in the NBA. Maybe the Wolves just has to thread water until they get lucky, so that when the next Kevin Garnett comes their way they build something around it. Then again the owner has to pull the plug on this fella more quickly if he fails to measure up. He kept McHale much too long.

First there was McFail, now we have the great David" Khan job", give me a break this team is gutless, and has very little talent, It will take more than Lip service to get this meager team to play with pride, and respect the game, they are just not a very good team, and need a major talent infusion or this could go on for a long time!

wolves might think about...

trading expiring contracts of blount and cardinal
to bull for salmons and hinrich.
bulls could go after wade or labron.

and/or

go after cris paul.

jefferson, pecherov with jazz first and bobcats first or rights to rubio.

What a bunch of crap from the oh-so-insincere mouth of David Kahn Man. Let's just look at his horrid record:

He trades solid veterans--who can score--Mike Miller to Washington for the 5 pick (Ricky Rubio). Rubio has let it be known that he only wants to go to a major market team. Kahn Man takes him anyway.

Then Kahn Man takes 5-10 shooting guard--thinking he's a PG--at 6, passing on Brandon Jennings.

So Kahn Man could have drafted Jennings at 6, and kept Miller and Foye.

Then Kahn Man trades--basically gives away--the solid Craig Smith for Quentin Richardson, who he then trades to Miami for Mark Blount, who he proceeds to devalue.

Then Kahn Man doesn't sign Rodney Carney, who brought a lot of life to the Timberwoes last season.

So he could have had a team of Jefferson, Love, Foye, Miller, Gomes, Smith, and Sessions. Maybe not a playoff team, but an extremely night-in-night-out competitive team.

Nice hire Glen Taylor. Not to be dismissed. David Kahn Man learned at the knee of the inept Knicks GM Donnie Walsh...who drafted Gallinari over Brook Lopez, and Jordan Hill over Brandon Jennings. How do these guys command a paycheck?

What's really funny, is that if we don't improve over next summer, the Wolves will become completely irrelevant, then Glen Taylor, you will really lose money, and your boy Kahn will have to go, unless you like to lose money? Worst team the Wolves have ever had, even when they just had Tony Campbell they were better. I can't beleive he passed on Jennings, that will go down as another huge draft blunder. When they took Flynn it seemed like the only thing Kahn was interested in in his game was his leadership, isn't that just great, take a player based on his intangibles rather than his talent, when you're this bad why wouldn't you take the most talented player available? So, we have a 5'11" SG, wonderful, thanks again Kahn for f'ing up another draft, I mean the guy doesn't even have a positive Assist to Turnover ratio, he's not a PG, the more we lose the more we can expect less fans to go to games, less money coming in and hopefully the Wolves being sold and moved, then we can eliminate professional basketball out of our minds forever, you just can't compete as a pro team being in this small of a market, we'll never get anybody to come here and we obviosly can't draft right.

That is so funny that he won't tolerate losing. You better keep him away from sharp objects, rope and alcholic beverages because this team is going to lose and lose big and often. The sad news is the problems in the basketball department are only ones the public sees. The entire front office is lost and Glen Taylor needs to look no further than the people around his table at Thanksgiving. You can't have ignorant family members running your multi-million dollar business and then hire an accountant to run your basketball area. Get quality business folks in the front office not rejects from soccer, the airline industy and a poorly run NHL team (who's owner was a criminal - Bruce McNall). You hired a GM who is a numbers guy not a basketball guy. Until that all gets firgued out fans, nothing will change. Get used to losing. I used to love NBA basketball but David Kahn's team has cured me of that obsession. My wife, family and pocket book thank you.

This whole debacle began with McMoron and all his countless blunders that totally wrecked the franchise. What we have are the sad remains of the junk Boston gave us for a superstar. McMoron and the Joe Smith fiasco brought about the K.G. fiasco and the subsequent fiascos have just snow balled into the current Wolves.
Big Gay AL is not the answer to the game Minny needs. He is overvalued and overpriced and way too big a career loser to do anything. The Traveling Gnome is way over matched as well. I would package the entire front line of the Wolves for a bag of tacos if you could get anyone to give you one. As for Kahn, I liked him getting rid of the yahoos that he did, only wish we could have gotten Rubio, but we'll see in two years. Right now it would be good to see what we can get for our non defensive front line. Jeez I would go after some real talent but it is going to be real hard to get anyone to want to come and play with such perenial garbage. kahn you need to take out the rest of the trash, the only way to undo the stupidity of Mcmoron.

One minor point...it was the owner that screwed up the Smith deal.
